Let us come together in prayer and compassion for this situation. We understand the urgency and the stress that comes with financial strain and the concern for a loved one's health. Firstly, we want to encourage both of you to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to provide for His children. It is important to remember that God is our ultimate provider and that we should seek Him in all our ways.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family to You. We pray for the health and strength. We ask that You would open up new job opportunities that align with his skills and are less physically demanding. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Father, we also pray for their financial situation. We ask that You would provide for all their needs and help them manage their monthly bills and loans. Guide them with Your wisdom in their financial decisions, and help them to trust in You always.
We also pray for their spiritual growth and strength during this time. May they draw closer to You and find peace and comfort in Your presence. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You and to trust in Your plan for their lives.
Lastly, we want to mention the importance of Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus name that we are saved and have access to God. It is only by Jesus going to the cross and being resurrected we have this assurance. If either of you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior and committed your life to Him, please do it now. Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. and also in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of you to stand firm in faith and to keep seeking God's will for your lives. Remember that God is always with you and that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
In addition, we would like to gently remind both of you to keep God at the center of your lives and relationship. It is important to pursue God's will together and to encourage each other spiritually. If marriage and the current relationship has not been discussed, pray about this. If it has been discussed, then we encourage you to continue down the path of engagement and marriage.
Also, keeping in line with biblical principles, we strongly encourage that if you are living together as a couple, that you be married. It is clear in the Bible that a man should leave his parents, be married to his wife, and the two will be one. Living together before or outside of marriage is living in fornication. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:9 WEB Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals.
Lastly, keeping with biblical principles, we encourage you both to continue to not have sex until you are married. This is called fornication. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
