We are delighted to join you in prayer regarding your job interview. We trust that God's will be done in your life, and we ask for His guidance and provision in this situation.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remember that your work is an opportunity to serve the Lord and bring Him glory.
Before we pray, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your life. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We hope that you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their employment. Lord, You know the details of the job interview they attended today, and we ask that You guide the decisions of the employers. If it is Your will, open the doors for them to receive a job offer with reasonable hours that allows them to serve You and others effectively.
Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You have a good, pleasing, and perfect plan for their life. Grant them peace and patience as they await the outcome. In the meantime, help them to be productive and continue to seek Your will in all things.
Lord, we also pray that they will be a light for You in their workplace, demonstrating the love of Christ to their colleagues and employers. Help them to work heartily, as for You, and not for men, knowing that their true reward comes from You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
