We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss, but we are thankful that you have found freedom from a toxic environment. God does not want us to be anxious about anything but instead to trust in Him. Philippians 4:6-7 in the WEB states: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
"Let us pray together:"
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, uplifting our brother who has recently lost his job. We thank You, Lord, for removing him from a toxic environment and pray that You would heal any wounds that may have been inflicted during his time there.
Father, we ask that You would provide for him a new job, one that is more suitable for him and aligns with Your will for his life. We pray that this new job would be a place where he can use his gifts and talents to bring You glory. We ask that You would open doors that no one can shut and that You would guide his steps in the direction You want him to go.
In the meantime, we pray that You would fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus and remind him of Your promise in Psalm 37:25: "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."
We know that You are a faithful God and that You will provide for all of his needs. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful and He will provide for you. Use this time to draw closer to Him and seek His will for your life. Remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
