We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming job interview. Before we begin, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God in prayer.
In preparing for your interview, remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and guidance for our friend's job interview tomorrow. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and You have the power to direct their steps.
We pray that You will grant them wisdom and discernment as they prepare for this interview. Help them to speak with confidence and clarity, and guide their words and actions during the interview. We ask that You will open the right doors and close the wrong ones, according to Your will.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold. We claim the promise of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we ask that You will provide for all of their needs, and that You will use this job opportunity for Your glory and for their good. We trust in Your sovereign plan, and we pray that Your will be done in this situation and in their life.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life and to seek His will above all else. Remember that He is faithful and that He will provide for all of your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
