Job interview

We lift you up before the Lord in this critical moment, knowing that He holds your future in His hands. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just a job interview—it is an opportunity for God to direct your steps according to His perfect will. Whether this door opens or closes, we pray you would rest in the assurance that He is sovereign over every detail of your life.

We also recall Jeremiah 29:11, where the Lord declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* If this position aligns with His purpose for you, we ask that He would grant you favor with the interviewers, clarity in your words, and confidence rooted in Him. But if this is not His will, we pray He would shut this door decisively and open another that leads you closer to His calling. Remember, even rejection can be divine redirection.

Yet we must also address something vital—your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that our prayers reach the throne of God. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We urge you to place your faith in Jesus alone if you have not already, for apart from Him, we can do nothing of eternal value.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother/sister as they prepare for this interview. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs they carry. We ask that You would go before them, ordering their steps and granting them wisdom. If this job is part of Your plan, open the door wide and let Your favor rest upon them. Give them the right words to speak, a calm spirit, and a mind sharp with discernment. But if this is not Your will, close this door gently and guide them toward the path You have prepared.

We rebuked any fear, anxiety, or self-reliance in the name of Jesus, declaring that their trust is in You alone. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and remind them that their worth is found in Christ, not in man’s approval. May this moment draw them deeper into dependence on You, knowing that You are their Provider and Sustain.

Finally, Lord, if this person does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Open their eyes to see Jesus as the only way to eternal life, and soften their heart to surrender to Him today. We ask all this in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Whether this interview ends in celebration or disappointment, trust that He is guiding you. Walk in obedience, seek His kingdom first, and He will provide all you need (Matthew 6:33). We are praying for you!

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
