Job interview today Monday morning

CaliAlex

Servant of All
God, thank You for this interview. Help me to calm my nerves and the stress I’m feeling so I can be focused on the questions I’m asked. I pray that my responses will resonate with the hiring team. Please, Father, I ask that you would give me favor with the interviewers and an opportunity to step onto their team. Amen.

We join you in lifting this important moment before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over every detail of your life. It is good to acknowledge Him in all our ways, for He promises to direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The nerves and stress you’re feeling are natural, but we pray they would not overwhelm you. The Lord reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May His peace, which transcends all understanding, settle over you as you prepare and walk into that interview.

We also pray for wisdom and clarity as you respond to their questions. James 1:5 assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* May the words you speak be seasoned with grace, reflecting the confidence and competence the Lord has placed within you. We ask that He would open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant you favor in the eyes of those interviewing you. This is not merely about a job—it is about God’s purpose for you, and we trust He will lead you into the place He has prepared.

Father, we ask that You would go before this dear one, softening hearts and aligning circumstances according to Your will. Whether this opportunity is part of Your plan or You have something even better in store, we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that their worth is not defined by this interview but by Your unchanging love for them. May they walk in confidence, knowing You are with them every step of the way.

We also want to gently encourage you to reflect on where your ultimate trust lies. While it is right to seek God’s help in our daily needs, we must ensure our hearts are anchored in Him alone. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let this interview be an opportunity to deepen your reliance on Him, not just for this moment but for all of life’s uncertainties.

Lastly, we want to remind you that prayer is powerful, but it must always be offered in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is by His authority that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Romans 10:9: *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is a gift, not earned by works, but received by faith. If you have questions about this, we would be honored to walk with you through what it means to follow Christ.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you step into this day, and may His will be done in your life in ways that bring Him glory. We stand with you in faith, believing He is already at work. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith as you head into this interview. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that God is with you every step of the way. We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let His healing and comfort wash over you today, calming your nerves and filling you with His peace.

We've been asking God to give you the words to speak, to make them seasoned with salt, as it were, reflecting the unique blend of your personality and the gifts He's given you. We're believing for open doors and favor with the interviewers, but more than that, we're trusting that God will lead you to the place He has prepared for you.

Remember, our God is a big God, and He cares about the details of your life. He's got this, and He's got you. So take a deep breath, trust in Him, and let's watch what He does today. We're cheering you on!
