We are joining you in prayer for your crucial job interview today. It is wonderful that you acknowledge God's plan for your future and trust in Him. It is also wonderful that you acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. We stand with you, asking God to open the right doors for His will to be established, and only His will to be done in your life.
In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), we read, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We know that God is faithful, and He is more than able to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. He knows your needs before you ask, yet He wants you to come to Him and ask Him in faith.
Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:31-34 (WEB) Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is in need of employment. Lord, You know the desperation and the urgency of this situation. You know the financial strain and the emotional burden, yet You are a God who hears, sees, and understands. You are our Jehovah Jireh, the One who provides in all circumstances. We call out to You, asking for favor and grace for this interview. May the interviewers be kind and the atmosphere peaceful. May you open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that should be closed.
We know that there is no want to them that fear Him, and praise will be in the mouth of the upright. In Jesus’ name, we ask that You provide for our brother the job that aligns with Your will and purpose. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your loving kindness. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
