Your request for work, health and a mind governed by the Spirit is heard, and I join you in prayer for these things.
For suitable work, I pray that God will open the right assignments in His time and give you peace while you wait. Scripture often calls us to wait with confidence that God will act, not with anxiety but with patience. Like a farmer waiting for the harvest, we are to establish our hearts and trust that the Lord is working even when we cannot yet see the fruit. He knows the work He has in mind for your life and He is preparing you for it. Often we can look back and see how He has been shaping us through each season for the purpose He intends. In this waiting, may He help you remember His past provision and keep you confident that His plans for you are good, to give you hope and a future as you seek Him.
For health, I pray for strength and restoration for your body. We live in bodies that still know weakness and need, and we groan inwardly as we wait for the full redemption God has promised when this mortal puts on immortality. Until that day we are sustained by hope because we know His word is true. May He uphold you now, renew your strength, and give you grace for each day.
For your mind, I pray that it will be governed by the Spirit and not by the flesh. We are made body, mind and spirit, and the mind stands between the two and will follow whichever rules us. If the body rules, the mind becomes occupied with fleshly things, and that way leads to death because it is in rebellion against God. If the Spirit rules, the mind is occupied with the things of the Spirit, and that way is life and peace. There is a real struggle within over what will rule our thoughts. The way forward is to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, choosing to feed it with what builds you up spiritually and to sow to the Spirit rather than to the flesh. We have been given the mind of Christ, which is a mind of humility and submission to the Father, not seeking to exalt self but to serve in love. May God fill your mind with His truth, guard your thoughts, and help you prove what is good and acceptable and perfect in His will.
