We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and anxious due to your workload and health concerns. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ and praying in His name, it is right that we present our requests to God the Father in Jesus' name, as we are told in John 16:23-24: "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
In regards to your anxiety and stress, we are reminded of what the Apostle Peter said in 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." And the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
God is not glorified when we are anxious, but He is glorified when we trust in Him and are at peace knowing He is in control. We can have faith and trust that He is able to handle our burdens and help us to complete our work, heal our bodies, and soften the hearts of those around us.
Regarding your health, know that God is able to heal you. We are told in Psalm 103:2-3: "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,"
We pray for your upcoming surgery, that God guides the surgeon's hands, and that your recovery is smooth and swift. We agree with you that your bosses, customers, and coworkers will be understanding and forgiving, allowing you the time you need to recover and rest. We will be sure that if your coworkers, bosses, or customers are unkind and harsh towards you, this will be discussed and corrected, especially towards you after your surgery.
However, we want to remind you that even when people are not understanding, our sole purpose is to serve God, not man. We should not be seeking the forgiveness of man but seeking forgiveness from God. We are told in Galatians 1:10: "For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ."
We encourage you to use this time to draw near to God, to read His Word, and to trust in Him. Remember that God is in control and He will provide you with the strength to complete your responsibilities at the proper time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother in Christ who is feeling anxious and stressed due to his workload and health concerns. Lord, we ask that You guide his hands, that You help him to complete his work, and that You soften the hearts of his bosses, customers, and coworkers to be understanding and forgiving. We pray for his upcoming surgery, that You guide the surgeon's hands, and that his recovery is smooth and swift.
Lord, we ask that You remind him of Your sovereignty, that You are in control, and that You will provide him with the strength to complete his responsibilities at the proper time. Help him to cast his anxieties on You and to trust in You. Help his coworkers, bosses, and customers to be understanding and forgiving.
We also pray for his healing, Lord. We know that You are able to heal him, and we ask that You do so in a way that brings glory to Your name.
Lord, we ask that You remind him of Your love for him, that You care for him, and that You are always with him. Help him to draw near to You during this time, to read Your Word, and to trust in You.
We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
