We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting up your need for employment and your uncertainty about piano lessons. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. You have promised in Your Word, "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You open the right doors for work-from-home opportunities that suit your skills and accommodate your medical condition. Guide your steps and give you peace as you seek employment, knowing that You will equip you for whatever task You call you to.
Lord, we also bring before You your piano lessons. It is important to seek Your will in all things, even in our hobbies and pursuits. "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). If these lessons are honoring to You and beneficial for your growth, give you clarity and joy in continuing them. If not, grant you the wisdom to discern what is best and the courage to make changes as You lead.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be clouding your judgment. "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would cast all your worries on the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You through this season of seeking and discernment. Remind them that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You and that there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May they find their strength and hope in Christ alone, who said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
We pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May you find comfort in knowing that the Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not be in want (Psalm 23:1). We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
