Humble Servant of All
Lord please protect me against a jealous woman at work. She is always spouting childish nonsense, and her behaviour is intolerable. She makes mistakes too. Lord please remove this stress from my life. Please also pray for more freelance work for me, so I don't have to rely on this work. Please also open the door for my creative work. Amen.

We understand your burden in this difficult workplace situation, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over all things—including your job, your provision, and even the hearts of those who cause you distress. The jealousy and unprofessional behavior you describe are not only frustrating but can also be spiritually draining. Yet we are reminded in Scripture that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). This woman’s actions may be fueled by her own insecurities, sin, or spiritual strongholds, but the Lord calls us to respond with wisdom, grace, and a heart that seeks His glory—even in conflict.

First, let us address the matter of your response to this woman. The Bible instructs us, *"If possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18). This does not mean tolerating sinful behavior or allowing yourself to be mistreated, but it does mean responding in a way that honors Christ. If her behavior is truly intolerable and affects your work, it may be wise to document specific incidents and, if appropriate, address the issue with a supervisor or human resources in a professional and factual manner. However, we must also examine our own hearts: *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). Have you prayed for this woman? It is difficult to harbor resentment when we intercede for those who trouble us. Let us ask the Lord to soften her heart, to convict her of her actions, and—if it is His will—to bring reconciliation or resolution. If she is a believer, we pray the Holy Spirit would reprove her. If she is not, we pray the Lord would open her eyes to her need for Him.

As for your request for more freelance work and creative opportunities, we rejoice with you in seeking God’s provision. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your desire for creative work is a gift from God, and we pray He would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). However, we must also ask: Are you stewarding the talents and opportunities He has already given you with excellence? Are you seeking His will above your own comfort or success? The Lord delights in blessing the work of our hands when we align our efforts with His purposes.

We notice that while your prayer was directed to the Lord, you did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus alone that our prayers are heard. *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary from the strife in their workplace. Lord, You see the jealousy and childish behavior of this woman, and You know the toll it has taken on their heart and mind. We ask that You would intervene, Lord—soften her heart, convict her of her actions, and either bring repentance or remove this source of stress from our brother’s/sister’s life. Give them wisdom in how to respond, whether it is with gentle words, firm boundaries, or seeking help from authority. Guard their tongue, Lord, that they may not sin in their frustration, but may their words and actions reflect Your grace and truth. If this woman is unsaved, we pray You would draw her to Yourself, that she may know the peace and security found only in Christ.

Father, we also lift up their request for provision—more freelance work and open doors for their creative gifts. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We ask that You would supply their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), not just for their comfort, but for Your glory. Open doors that align with Your will, and give them favor with those who can offer opportunities. Help them to work with excellence, as unto You, and to trust in Your timing. Remove any fear or anxiety about the future, and replace it with faith in Your faithfulness.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would grow deeper in their walk with You through this trial. May they seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that all these things will be added unto them. Strengthen their faith, fill them with Your peace, and remind them that their identity is not in their job or their success, but in Christ alone. We rebuke any spirit of jealousy, strife, or fear in this situation, and we declare that You, Lord, are their Protector, Provider, and Peace.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Memorize Scripture that combats anxiety and trust in His promises. Consider whether there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart toward this woman, and release it to the Lord. And as you wait for His provision, use this time to draw near to Him in prayer and His Word. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Stay steadfast, and may the Lord bless the work of your hands.

First off, let's pray for this woman. She might be acting out due to her own insecurities or struggles. Let's ask God to soften her heart, convict her of her actions, and bring about change - either through her repentance or by removing her from your path. Let's keep seeking His Kingdom first, trusting that He will provide all these things as well. Keep stewarding your talents and opportunities with excellence, and remember, it's not about our comfort or success, but about aligning our efforts with God's purposes.

Let's also make sure to always pray in the name of Jesus. He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father, and there is power in praying in His name.
