Disciple of Prayer
Hello! May the Lord bless you and keep you and help you with everything you need!!
Please, pray for the Lord to bless with me a job. I had an interview last week that I was told I'd hear back about by end of this week, and I have another interview this Thursday.
My dad's friend has been helping me financially so far, bless him. Please, pray for his and his wife's salvation.
Praise the Lord, I managed to move from my old place to a new rental. Please, pray for the old place's property manager, he's a really angry person in general. If not for the Lord lining things up for me and my sister in Christ supporting me, the old place's property manager would have made a lot of problems for me.

Thank you again and may the Lord bless you!

We hear your heart and lift your needs before the Lord with great compassion and faith. First, we rejoice with you in the provision of your new rental home, what a testimony to God’s faithfulness! The Lord truly goes before you, making a way even when obstacles seem insurmountable. We pray now for the job opportunities before you, asking that the Lord open the right door in His perfect timing. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) May the interview this Thursday bear fruit, and may the first employer respond with favor if it aligns with God’s will for you.

We also lift up your father’s friend and his wife, praying earnestly for their salvation. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that their hearts be softened to the truth of the Gospel, that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior, and that the Holy Spirit would draw them into a personal relationship with Him. Only through Christ can anyone be saved (Acts 4:12), and we declare that their eyes would be opened to His love and grace.

Regarding the property manager from your old residence, we pray for his heart as well. Anger can harden a person, but the Lord is able to break chains and bring transformation. "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." (Proverbs 15:1) We ask that the Lord would minister to him, revealing His love and patience, and that any bitterness or unforgiveness in his life would be uprooted. We also thank God for the sister in Christ who supported you, what a blessing to have fellowship and encouragement in the body of believers!

As you wait for the Lord’s provision, we encourage you to trust in His timing and sovereignty. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33) Financial struggles can be heavy, but the Lord is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He will not abandon you. We stand with you in faith, believing that He will meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has placed their trust in You. Lord, You see their needs, their hopes, and their struggles. We ask that You would open the door to the right job, one that provides not only financially but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them peace as they wait, and let them sense Your presence in every step. We pray for the salvation of their father’s friend and his wife, that Your Spirit would convict them of their need for You and that they would surrender their lives to Christ. Soften the heart of the property manager, Lord, and bring healing where there is anger. Thank You for the provision of the new home and for the believers who have come alongside them. Strengthen their faith, and let them experience Your goodness in tangible ways. We declare that You are their Provider, their Peace, and their Hope. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing these updates with us, it's clear you're noticing God's provision even in the middle of the waiting, and that takes real faith.

The interview you had last week and the one coming Thursday are heavy on your mind, and we understand that weight. There's something uniquely draining about the days between an interview and an answer, when you're replaying every answer you gave and wondering if you said the right thing. We're praying specifically that you'll hear back with good news, and that Thursday's conversation will go well, that you'll have clarity of thought and a genuine connection with the people across the table.

It's also striking to us that in the same breath you're asking for prayer for your dad's friend and his wife to come to know the Lord. That kind of gratitude, the kind that turns toward someone else's deepest need while you're still in your own tight spot, is not small. We're lifting them up with you, asking God to draw them to himself.

And we're relieved with you that you got out of that old rental situation. Living under an angry property manager wears on a person in ways that are hard to name until you're finally free of it. It won't be wasted, God saw what that was like for you, and he used your sister in Christ to hold you steady through it. We'll pray for that manager too, that whatever is fueling his anger would lose its grip.

Father, thank you for the job interviews already given and the one still ahead. Provide the work this person needs, and give peace while they wait. We lift up this dad's friend and his wife, open their hearts to know Jesus. And for the old property manager, we ask you to quiet whatever rage is driving him and lead him toward wholeness. In Jesus' name, amen.

How graciously the Lord has dealt with you in moving you to a new dwelling, and in raising up a friend to sustain you in this season of need. It is well with the soul that can trace the hand of Providence in such deliverances. The enemy would have stirred up that angry manager to vex you, but the Lord said, “Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further.” Give Him praise, for He has not suffered you to be tempted above what you are able.

As you await word from that interview and prepare for another, remember Job, who, when stripped of all, worshiped and sinned not with his lips. The same Lord who turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends is attentive to your cry. It is no small thing that you lift up the salvation of your ###’s friend and his wife; this is the very spirit that makes intercession prevailing. I would say to you, lean hard upon the promise that He anoints with fresh oil and renews the bow in your hand. The strength you have today may seem little, but He who supplied the ravens and the widow’s cruse will not fail you now.

I do pray for you, yes, and I ask the flock here gathered to unite in petition: that the Lord Jesus, who has overcome the world, would open a door of employment suited to your need; that He would give you favor in the eyes of those who interview, so that you might receive a clear answer of peace. We beseech Him also for the friend who has been a steward of mercy to you, may the Spirit blow upon his soul and his wife’s, till they see and embrace Christ as their all. And as for that harsh property manager, we have no weapon but prayer. Let us entreat the God of all grace to soften his heart, and if it be His will, to bring him out of the gall of bitterness into the sweet meekness of a child of God. The bowels of Job wept for the poor, and we ought to grieve for those who are poor in temper and captive to wrath.

Cast your burden on the Lord; if you are as poor as Job, be as patient as Job, and you shall find hope ever shining. The trial of a living faith worketh patience, and patience perfecteth her work. May the peace of God keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord has indeed shown you mercy in your move and in providing a sister to support you. Give thanks for this. But do not measure His blessing by the job you seek or the money you lack, for these are but dreams of a sleeping world. Reflect on Job: when was he truly blessed? Not when his flocks were many, but when stripped of all, he cried out, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." That was the moment heaven rejoiced, and the devil’s schemes were shattered. The evil one does not snatch away goods merely to make us poor; he longs to wring from our lips a word against God. Guard your heart, then, that this trial may become your crown.

You ask prayer for a job, and I will pray, but I charge you: make provision for the body only for health, not to feed the lusts of anxiety or soft living. Do not let the restless desire for comfort ensnare you. The present life is a brief sleep; soon the day dawns and these cares will vanish. Seek rather to be rich toward God. And what of the salvation of your father’s friend and his wife? Here is a far weightier matter. Beseech the Lord for them unceasingly, and let your own patient trust be a witness to them of the treasure that moth cannot corrupt.

As for the angry property manager, remember that you once were perhaps no less ruled by passions. Return his wrath with kindness, and pray for his soul. Such a man is to be pitied more than a beggar, for he lacks the peace of Christ. May the Lord grant you a quiet spirit, employment sufficient for your needs, and above all, a love that seeks not its own, that you may be numbered with the blessed who suffer want and yet hold fast to God.
