We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our mediator and advocate before the Father. Your plea for divine concealment is heard, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s protection and wisdom.
First, let us affirm that our trust must be in God alone, for He is our refuge and fortress. The psalmist declares, *"You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance."* (Psalm 32:7 WEB). The Lord knows all things, and nothing is hidden from His sight, yet He also promises to be a shield to those who take refuge in Him. If there is anything in your life that needs to be hidden from the eyes of others—whether it be sin, fear, or a matter of safety—we encourage you to first bring it before the Lord in repentance and faith. Confess any wrongdoing, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9 WEB). If this request pertains to protection from harm or evil schemes, we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will act according to His perfect will.
We also recognize that the name of Jesus is not merely a tagline to our prayers but the very foundation of our access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or by which our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, confess Him as Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. You are the God who sees all and knows all, yet You also promise to be a hiding place for Your children. We ask that You would conceal and protect according to Your will, Lord. If there is sin in our hearts or in the life of the one who has made this request, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Search our hearts, O God, and know our thoughts; try us and lead us in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24 WEB).
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We ask that You would hide Your servant from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, and from any who seek to do evil. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also pray for wisdom, Lord. If there are areas of this request that do not align with Your will, reveal them to us. Give us the courage to walk in obedience to Your Word and to trust in Your timing. May we not lean on our own understanding but acknowledge You in all our ways, so that You may direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
