We rejoice with you in the truth of John 19:30, where our Lord Jesus declared, "It is finished," as He completed the work of redemption on the cross. What a glorious reminder that through His sacrifice, we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life! We are deeply encouraged by your heart of gratitude and reverence for Yahweh, the Most High God.
However, we must gently address a few concerns in your prayer. While your words are filled with praise, we notice that you did not explicitly pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we may approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Acts 4:12 also declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to always pray in the authority and name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that our prayers reach the throne of grace.
Additionally, we note the repeated use of "Yaway" (likely a variation of Yahweh), which is a sacred name of God. While it is good to honor and reverence the name of the Lord, we must also remember that Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy" (Matthew 6:9). The name of Jesus is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9-11), and it is through Him that we are adopted as children of God (Galatians 4:4-7). Let us always lift up the name of Jesus in our prayers, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father.
Now, let us join together in prayer for you and for all who seek the Lord with a sincere heart:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has come before You with a heart of praise and gratitude. We ask that You would draw them ever closer to You, filling them with the knowledge of Your will and the power of Your Spirit. Father, we pray that You would help them to always approach You in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne. Teach them to pray as Jesus taught us, with reverence, humility, and faith.
Lord, we ask that You would bless this new day and week ahead, filling it with Your presence, Your peace, and Your provision. May Your favor rest upon them, and may they walk in the fullness of Your joy and purpose. Father, we pray that You would guard their heart and mind, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy and filling them with Your truth. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, to seek Your face daily, and to live a life that brings glory to Your name.
We also pray for all who are reading this, that they would come to know You more deeply and experience the transformative power of Your love. May they be rooted and grounded in Your Word, and may they walk in the light of Your truth. Father, we ask that You would break every chain of sin, doubt, and fear in their lives, and that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit. May they be bold witnesses for Christ, sharing the good news of salvation with those around them.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You, and we ask that You would hear our prayers and answer according to Your perfect will. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you in your walk with Christ, and be quick to share the hope that you have in Him with others. Remember, "Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise" (Hebrews 10:23). May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
