We join you in giving all honor, praise, worship, glory and thanksgiving to our Father God for all things on earth as it is in heaven, and we rejoice with you in the beautiful heart of gratitude you have expressed for His amazing grace.

We love the scriptures you have brought before the Lord. In John 19:30 we read that when Jesus had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished. He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. What a glorious truth that our redemption was fully accomplished at the cross by Christ alone. In Joel 2:25 the Lord promises, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, which reminds us of His power to redeem and restore what has been lost or broken. And in Luke 6:38 Jesus teaches, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured to you again, showing us the generous heart of our Father toward His children.

We do want to lovingly address something we noticed in your prayer. You prayed in Yaway holy name, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share with you gently but clearly that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And scripture declares in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Yaway, or Yahweh, is indeed the holy name of the Lord God, but the Father has given His Son Jesus to be our mediator and our Savior. When Jesus finished the work on the cross, He opened the way for us to come boldly into the Father's presence in His name. If we have not yet put our faith in Jesus, we are invited to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, for in Romans 10:9 we are told we will be saved in that way.

We encourage you to continue to lift up thanksgiving and to seek His favor and protection, for Psalm 5:12 tells us, For you will bless the righteous, Yahweh. You will surround him with favor as with a shield, and we know His light does shine through His children as we walk in His love.

Father God, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, with thanksgiving for Your amazing grace and for the finished work of the cross. We thank You that You are a God who restores, who gives abundantly, and who surrounds Your children with favor as with a shield. We ask that You let Your light of love shine through us so that all creation may see Your goodness. Draw our dear friend closer to the truth of who Jesus is, that every prayer may be offered through Him who is our only hope and our only way to You. Help us to walk in gratitude, to give generously as You have given to us, and to live each day for Your kingdom, Your power, and Your glory forever and ever. We ask this in the holy and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your morning prayer brought a smile to our faces. Thank you for sharing such a full hearted offering of honor, praise and thanksgiving to the Father.

We love how you begin the day by lifting Him up and remembering His grace and favor over you and all His children. That posture of gratitude and worship is so good for the heart. It turns our attention outward to who God is and reminds us we are loved and held by Him, which can bring a quiet steadiness even as the day unfolds.

It is a gift to carry that thankfulness with you beyond this morning moment. If it helps, you might keep voicing it through the day in simple ways, speaking thanks aloud as you go, or sharing with someone close to you one specific reason you are grateful today. Those small acts keep the heart anchored.

Father, we thank You with our friend for Your goodness and mercy. We praise You for Your love that surrounds Your children and for the light You let shine through us. How sweet it is to hear a prayer perfumed with praise, for with every prayer and supplication we should mingle thanksgiving and so make known our requests unto God. Your voice of honor and gratitude is a garment of praise with which the Lord clothes His people when He takes away the spirit of heaviness, and to be wrapped in praise to God is the highest state of the soul.

We join with you in blessing the Lord for His crowning mercies. At the cross our Lord cried, It is finished, and there was completed the one great Sacrifice by which sin is put away and by which every other prayer and praise is made acceptable unto God. There is no thanksgiving that can come before the Father except by virtue of Christ, for His blood cleanses us from all sin and it is God that justifies through Him. In Him we see how God's paths drop fatness, and the sinner who waits upon the Lord and hearkens diligently unto the message of His Gospel finds favor and fullness.

You have well quoted the promise that God will restore the years, and we rejoice that when the Lord sets His people at liberty He sends them away full handed, giving from the flock and from the threshing floor and from the winepress. And you have remembered the word, Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure pressed down and running over. The Lord loves a cheerful giver and He teaches His people how kind they ought to be, for they have received so much at His hands.

May the Lord keep you attentive to His mercies, for he who notices God's mercy will never be without a mercy to notice. Preserve the invoice of favors received and record the goodness of the Lord, and let praise employ your lips in psalms and hymns. May you continue to worship and bow down and come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, resting in the finished work of Christ and bearing fruit unto God.

We thank God for your thanksgiving and pray that His favor and protection may surround you, that His light may shine through you, and that you may be kept as His pupil in the school of grace, declaring His wondrous works from your youth until now. To Him be the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Your prayer of thanksgiving and praise has been received with joy, and we join you in giving glory to the Father for His amazing grace.

It is good that you begin with honor and thanksgiving, for as Scripture teaches, we are to come before His presence with thanksgiving. This kind of prayer does not add anything to God, for He has need of nothing from us, but it draws us nearer to Him and kindles our love for Him more fervently. When we continually bring to mind what He has done for us, we become more diligent to keep His commandments and to walk in His ways.

You have recalled three precious promises. In John 19:30 we hear that Christ said it is finished, and His work on the cross is complete for our salvation. In Joel 2:25 we hear His promise to restore what has been lost. In Luke 6:38 we hear that He gives generously to those who give. All of these show the glory of His grace which He has freely bestowed on us, not because we deserved it, but so that we and all creation might praise Him.

Continue in this spirit of gratitude each day and in each week to come. True thanksgiving is not only words on our lips, but a life that confesses our need for Him, turns from sin, and seeks to use all He has given us, our speech, our strength, and our understanding, for our own salvation and for the good of our neighbor. May His favor and protection surround you, and may His light of love shine through you to others.

We thank God for you and pray that He will keep you in His grace, strengthen you to live for His glory, and fill your heart with continual thanksgiving through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer of praise and thanksgiving is a beautiful offering to the Lord and it is a joy to join with you in it. The Scriptures call everything that has breath to praise Him, in His sanctuary and under the heavens, for His mighty acts and for His excellent greatness, with voices and instruments and with the whole heart. That is what you are doing as you lift up honor and glory to Him for His grace.

It is right to praise Him for who He is and for what He has done. We praise Him for His goodness and His wonderful works to us, for His mercy that is as high as the heavens, for His love and grace that we do not deserve and could never earn. The Bible teaches that grace is beautiful unmerited favor, and it is by that grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone that we are made right with God and given a standing before Him. We do not stand in our own righteousness, we stand in His grace, and we rejoice in the hope of His glory. Because Jesus said it is finished, His work on the cross is complete, and on that basis God hears our prayers, forgives us, restores what was lost as He promised to restore the years, and pours out His favor upon us.

The truest praise is not trying to praise in order to get something from God, but the spontaneous response of a heart that has seen how good He is. It rises up with thanksgiving simply because He is worthy, because He has chosen us and called us and shown us mercy. That kind of praise pleases Him more than any outward offering, when we declare His works with rejoicing and give thanks from a yielded life.

May the Lord continue to surround you with His favor as a shield and cause His love to shine through you. May you keep declaring His goodness and giving thanks from the rising of the sun to its going down, knowing that He hears you, that He has provided for you, and that His grace will carry you now and forever. We thank Him with you for His kingdom and power and glory, and we pray this in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.
