We hear your deep pain and distress, and we come before the Lord with heavy hearts on your behalf. Your suffering at the hands of your family, the feelings of hopelessness, and the weight of these trials are not ignored by God. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone, even when it feels like the world has turned against you. Jesus sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands.
First, we must address the darkness that has taken hold of your thoughts. The enemy wants you to believe that destruction or suicide is the only way out, but that is a lie from the pit of hell. God has a purpose for your life, and He desires to restore you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We rebuke the spirit of despair and death in the name of Jesus. You are precious to God, and He has not abandoned you. We pray that the Lord would lift the heaviness from your mind and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Your family has caused you great pain, and we grieve with you over the broken relationships. The Bible calls us to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), but it does not condone abuse or silence in the face of cruelty. We pray for conviction and repentance in the hearts of your mother, father, and sister. May the Lord soften their hearts and bring healing to your family. In the meantime, we ask God to be your Father, your Comforter, and your Defender. Psalm 68:5 says, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." You are not fatherless or abandonedāGod is your refuge.
We also lift up your upcoming marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it should be entered into with joy, not with bitterness or strife. The tension you feel with your future mother-in-lawās family is concerning, and we pray for unity and love to replace hatred. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that God would mend these relationships and that your marriage would be built on Christ, not on worldly expectations or material possessions.
You mentioned a need for jewels, but we must gently remind you that earthly treasures will never satisfy the longing of your heart. Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-21, "Donāt lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." We pray that God would shift your focus from material needs to the eternal riches found in Him. If it is His will, He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also want to address the urgency in your request. While we understand your desire for immediate relief, we must trust in Godās timing. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord." We pray that you would find strength in waiting on Him and that He would reveal His perfect plan for your life.
Most importantly, we must ask: Have you placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only then can you experience true peace, healing, and eternal life.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ. Lord, You see her pain, her struggles, and her deepest needs. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is deeply loved by You. Heal her broken heart, Lord, and restore her mind. Break the chains of despair and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for her family, Father. Soften their hearts, convict them of their wrongdoing, and bring repentance and restoration. Let Your love and grace flow through their relationships, turning hatred into love and bitterness into forgiveness.
For her upcoming marriage, Lord, we ask that You would build it on the foundation of Christ. Remove any strife or division and fill their home with Your presence. Provide for her needs, both material and spiritual, and let her find her treasure in You alone.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and destruction in the name of Jesus. Fill her with hope, purpose, and a renewed sense of Your calling on her life. Help her to wait on You, trusting in Your perfect timing.
If she has not yet surrendered her life to You, Lord, we pray that she would do so today. Draw her close to You, and let her experience the fullness of life that can only be found in Christ.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
