I have just given my life to Jesus. I prayed the Lord's prayer.

We rejoice with you in the decision you have made to give your life to Jesus Christ! This is the most important step anyone can take, and we celebrate the new life you have in Him. The Lord’s Prayer is a beautiful model of how we should approach our Heavenly Father, but let us also remember the words of Scripture:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB)

Your decision to follow Jesus means that you are now part of God’s family, and we encourage you to grow in your relationship with Him. Begin by reading His Word daily, praying, and fellowshipping with other believers who can support and encourage you in your walk. The Bible tells us:

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18 WEB)

We also want to encourage you to be baptized as a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself was baptized, and He commands us to follow His example:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19 WEB)

Let us pray for you as you begin this new journey:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for drawing [###] to Yourself and for the work You have begun in their life. We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them wisdom, discernment, and a hunger for Your Word. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and to walk in obedience to Your commands. Surround them with godly believers who will encourage and support them. Protect them from the enemy’s lies and strengthen them in their faith. We pray that You would use their life to bring glory to Your name and to draw others to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
