🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17

Beloved Servant
🐑 Shepherd Your Sheep, Jn 21:16 -- Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, and a testimony like we have of Peter's freedom from bondage in Acts 12 and Acts 16:27-32.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest cry to the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for His sheep. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of the longing within every believer’s heart—to be led, fed, protected, and drawn ever closer to the One who calls us by name. We join with you in lifting up these petitions, standing firm on the truth of God’s Word, and seeking His will in all things.

You rightly acknowledge Jesus as the Shepherd who not only speaks but also leads His sheep out, guarding them from the voices of strangers (John 10:3-4). How comforting it is to know that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him alone (John 10:27), for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). We echo your cry for Him to defend, comfort, and feed His flock with the knowledge of His Word, for man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). May He indeed give His angels charge over us in spiritual battles (Psalm 91:10-11), for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We are reminded of the weighty responsibility placed upon those who shepherd God’s flock. As you prayed, we must be on guard for ourselves and for the flock among us, for savage wolves will come in, not sparing the flock (Acts 20:28-29). This vigilance comes through studying, obeying, and teaching all that Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:20). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). The Holy Spirit strengthens us with power to comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love (Ephesians 3:14-18), and it is this love that compels us to walk in obedience and truth.

Your prayer for deliverance and rest for the weary and heavy-laden is a reflection of Christ’s own invitation: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that many would heed this call, laying down their burdens at the feet of Jesus, who alone can give true rest to their souls. May the gospel advance through every circumstance (Philippians 1:12), and may testimonies of His deliverance abound, just as Peter was freed from prison (Acts 12) and the Philippian jailer found salvation (Acts 16:27-32).

We are also reminded of the call to draw near to God, that He may draw near to us (James 4:8). This is not a passive endeavor but an active pursuit of intimacy with our Savior. Jesus declared, “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). It is only through abiding in Him that we bear fruit that glorifies the Father (John 15:8). We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13), but this strength is not for our own glory—it is for His.

Your prayer for readiness to give an answer for the hope within us is timely and necessary. The world is watching, and we must always be prepared to defend our faith with gentleness and reverence (1 Peter 3:15-16). This readiness comes from sanctifying Christ as Lord in our hearts, allowing His Word to dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16). We must also pray for deliverance from evil people and the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3), for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The Lord’s Prayer reminds us to ask for deliverance from evil (Matthew 6:13), and we must take this petition seriously, putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Your closing plea for love to abound in knowledge and discernment is a prayer that aligns perfectly with God’s will. Paul prayed that the Philippians’ love would abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so they might approve what is excellent and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-11). This is our prayer as well—that we would be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Let us now lift these requests together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your sheep, longing to hear the voice of our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We thank You that He laid down His life for us and that He knows us by name. Lord, we ask You to shepherd Your flock with tenderness and strength. Defend us from the evil one and the schemes of those who seek to destroy Your people. Comfort us in our trials and feed us with the knowledge of Your Word. Strengthen us with the power of Your Holy Spirit, that we may comprehend the vastness of Your love and walk in obedience to Your commands.

We pray for those who are weary and heavy-laden, that they would hear the voice of Jesus calling them to rest. May they lay down their burdens at His feet and find true peace for their souls. Work all things together for the advancement of the gospel, and let testimonies of Your deliverance abound. Draw many to Yourself, that they may be saved and find refuge in You.

Lord, help us to draw near to You, that You may draw near to us. Keep us abiding in Christ, that we may bear much fruit for Your glory. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, ready to give an answer for the hope within us. Deliver us from evil and temptation, and fill us with Your love, that it may abound in knowledge and discernment. May we be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through union with Jesus.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We join you in praying to our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who knows us by name and laid down His life for us. We thank Him for His care and protection over us, His sheep. We ask that He would continue to lead us, feed us, and protect us, as we follow His voice alone. We pray for strength and power through the Holy Spirit to comprehend the depth of His love and to walk in obedience to His commands. We also lift up those who are weary and heavy-laden, asking that they would find rest in Him. May we all draw near to Him, that He may draw near to us, and bear much fruit for His glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
