Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, Arise and Shepherd Your Flock in The Majesty of The LORD Our God 🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️‍💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this beautiful and faithful prayer and we say amen to your cry for Jesus our Shepherd to arise and shepherd His flock in the strength of the Lord.

We love how you have anchored your prayer in the Word and we agree together that He will do as He has promised. For it is written in Micah 5:4, He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God. And Jesus Himself said in John 10:11, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. We thank our Lord that He did lay down His life for us and took it up again, and now in Revelation 7:17 the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds His people and will guide them to springs of living waters.

We pray with you that we His sheep will indeed hear His voice and follow Him alone. As you prayed, in John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, and in John 10:4 When he has brought out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. We ask the Lord to keep us from listening to the voice of strangers and from the warped wolves that seek to draw away the flock, as warned in Acts 20:28-29. We ask Him to help us watch over ourselves and the flock of God among us, to shepherd the flock of God which is among you in 1 Peter 5:2, not by constraint but willingly, and to abide in the Vine, for Jesus said in John 15:5 I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

We also lift up with you our brothers and sisters who are in chains, remembering them as bound with them, as commanded in Hebrews 13:3 Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and in Colossians 4:18 Remember my bonds. We ask the Lord to grant relief to the persecuted church even now, as you reminded us of Acts 12:1-2 and the miraculous release of Peter in Acts 12:7-10 when the angel of the Lord struck Peter and his chains fell off, and as with Paul and Silas in Acts 16:26 when suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were loosened, which led to the salvation of the Philippian jailer and his household. We pray that God will be their Shepherd even in prison, for nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord in Romans 8:38-39, and that He will move His people to visit them and to clothe and care for them as unto Christ Himself in Matthew 25:36 I was in prison, and you visited me.

We pray that He will give His angels charge over us and over all our fellow believers in spiritual battle, according to Psalm 91:11 He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and that they are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation in Hebrews 1:14. We ask for wisdom and knowledge to feed the flock, and for strength through the Holy Spirit according to Ephesians 3:16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man.

We join you in praying for all who are weary and heavy laden to come to Him, for Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, and that He would draw near to all who draw near to Him as promised in James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. We pray that love may abound more and more in knowledge and discernment as in Philippians 1:9-11, that we may be sincere and blameless and filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, and that we may be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks us a reason concerning the hope that is in us, with humility and fear in 1 Peter 3:15.

Father, we ask You to deliver us from evil people and the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 and Matthew 6:13, to heal the sick and to work everything for the furtherance of the Good News in Philippians 1:12. We ask that You perfect Your love in us, because as He is, even so are we in this world in 1 John 4:17, and that not unto us but to Your name be glory in Psalm 115:1.

We thank You Lord Jesus that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want in Psalm 23:1, that You lead us beside still waters and restore our souls. We trust You to care for us, to defend us, to comfort us, and to lead us until we dwell in Your house forever. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear the deep love in your prayer for God's people, near and far, and especially for those suffering for their faith. It is a beautiful thing to carry the flock and those in chains before the Lord the way you have, asking Him to shepherd, protect and draw near.

We join you in that. We know it can feel heavy to hold so much concern for others while also wanting to stay faithful and steady ourselves. One thing that has helped many who carry this kind of burden is to stay rooted in our own local fellowship day by day, abiding, listening, serving where God has placed us, while also keeping that wider family in regular prayer. That rhythm of near and far keeps our hearts both grounded and open.

Thank you for lifting this up and for modeling that care for the body. We are praying with you.

Father, we thank You for being our Shepherd who knows Your sheep and cares for each one. We ask You to be near to those who are suffering, lonely or in prison for Your name, to comfort and strengthen them, and to keep Your whole flock in Your care. Draw each of us closer to You and to one another, and give us rest as we follow You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in this prayer to our great Shepherd, and we give thanks with you that He is indeed the Lord our Shepherd who leads His sheep and lays down His life for them. How blessed is the confidence you express, that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him, and that He cares for them, feeds them, defends them and gives His angels charge over them.

Your petitions remind us that in all that God does He acts from good and wise reasons. Like a careful dispenser He will not pour out a drop too little or too much, but every trial is dealt in weight and measure, not in anger but from His dear covenant love. When the soul seemed ready to go down to the pit, the voice came from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom in Christ Jesus Himself. So we pray with you that you and all the flock of God among you would know this deliverance, not only from the guilt of sin but from the power of darkness, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of it. Where we look for justification there must we look for sanctification also.

We pray with you for those in chains, as those bound with them. From the height of His sanctuary in heaven the Lord looks down upon His people, and though for a present time they may be fettered and unable to escape, He is resolving to set them free. We ask the Lord to grant relief to the persecuted church, to be their Shepherd even there, that no tribulation nor distress nor persecution shall separate them from the love of Christ. May He grant boldness, may He send visits and help to those in prison, and may He work all things for the furtherance of the gospel, as He did in opening prison doors for Peter and in the earthquake at Philippi.

And we pray with you that we may all draw near to God that He may draw near to us, abiding in Christ the true Vine, for apart from Him we can do nothing, but through Christ who strengthens us we can bear much fruit. May the Lord keep us holy in our hearts, ready to give an answer for the hope within us, delivered from the evil one and from evil men, abounding in love with knowledge and discernment, filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

May the Lord perfect you in His love, cause you to know the dimensions of that love which passes knowledge, and give you rest as you take His easy yoke upon you. We ask all this not unto us, but unto His name be glory, through Jesus Christ our only Shepherd and Saviour. Amen.
