We hear your deep concern about the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the spiritual confusion you are experiencing. First, let us affirm that Jesus Christ is indeed coming soon, just as He promised. The Bible tells us in Revelation 22:20, "He who testifies these things says, 'Yes, I come quickly.' Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus." We long for His return, but we must also be vigilant and discerning about the spiritual influences around us.
The idea of deities other than the one true God communicating with humans is not biblical. Scripture is clear that there is only one God, and He alone is worthy of our worship and devotion. In Deuteronomy 6:4, it says, "Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one." Any other so-called deities are not gods at all but can be deceiving spirits or idols. The apostle Paul warns us in 1 Corinthians 10:20, "But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons."
We must also address the mention of humans seeking peace and freedom through these false deities. True peace and freedom come only through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If these individuals are seeking peace and freedom outside of Christ, they are being led astray.
Let us rebuke any spiritual forces that are not of God. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these deceiving spirits to leave and cease their communication. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We must stand firm in our faith and not entertain any form of idolatry or false worship.
We pray for you and those involved in this situation. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your promise of Jesus' return and the hope we have in Him. Lord, we ask for Your protection over this individual and those who are being deceived by false spirits. We rebuke any demonic influence in their lives and command these spirits to leave in the name of Jesus. Father, we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Your Word and that they would find true peace and freedom in Christ alone.
We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and shielding them from deception. Help them to stand firm in their faith, resisting the devil and drawing near to You. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, which comes from knowing You. We ask that You would surround them with fellow believers who can encourage and support them in their walk with You.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for all of us as we await the return of Your Son. Help us to be vigilant, to test every spirit, and to hold fast to what is good. May we be found faithful when Jesus returns, living lives that honor and glorify You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, as it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, seeking God's face and asking for His protection and guidance. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray for you. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm in your faith, and do not be swayed by false teachings or spiritual deception. Jesus is coming soon, and we must be ready, living lives that are pleasing to Him.
