On a note: the swelling can be a side effect of medication, so-called facial edema. You can look up the full list of side effects on the producer's website (they're legally obligated to list all, as opposed to the authorities). You can ask your pharmacy for over the counter antihistamines against it, if that's the case, or drink plenty fluid with antioxidants, e.g. coffee.
