We hear your desperate cry to the Lord, and we join you in lifting up this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your plea is raw and real, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, where our Savior intercedes for us all. The weight of this world can feel unbearable at times, but we take comfort in knowing that Jesus hears every word, sees every tear, and holds every burden we carry.
First, we must address the urgency of your prayer with the truth of Scripture. Jesus Himself tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). He is not distant or indifferent, He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Your cry for help for your sister and for all on earth is heard, and we believe God is already moving in response to your faith.
We also want to gently remind you that prayer is not just a plea, it is a conversation with the Living God. Jesus taught us to pray with persistence, but also with trust in the Father’s perfect will. "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us" (1 John 5:14 WEB). So we pray with you now, asking the Lord to move mightily in your sister’s life and in the lives of all who are suffering across the earth.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who alone is our Mediator and Advocate. Lord, we lift up this dear sister and her family to You. You know the depths of her heart, the struggles she faces, and the needs she may not even have words to express. We ask You to surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Father, we trust You to work in ways we cannot see, for Your Word says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways" (Isaiah 55:8 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for the brokenness of this world. The suffering, the injustice, the pain, it all grieves Your heart, and it grieves ours as well. We ask You to raise up men and women who will stand in the gap, who will be Your hands and feet, and who will proclaim the hope of the Gospel to a lost and hurting world. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We declare that Jesus is the only answer for this world’s despair, and we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit to draw hearts to Him.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of hopelessness or despair that may be trying to take root in this sister’s heart or in the hearts of those she loves. We declare that "the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). We stand on the promise that nothing can separate us from Your love, not tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword (Romans 8:35 WEB). In the name of Jesus, we command every lie of the enemy to be silenced, and we proclaim truth over this situation.
To the one who has poured out this prayer, we want to encourage you with the words of our Savior: "In the world you have oppression, but cheer up! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33 WEB). Keep pressing into Jesus. Keep crying out to Him. He is not ignoring your pain, He is carrying it with you. We also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can walk alongside you and your sister in this time. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and we believe God wants to use His people to bring comfort and support to you both.
If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray fervently for her salvation. There is no greater need in her life than to be reconciled to God through Christ. We ask You, Father, to soften her heart, open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw her to Yourself. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). We declare that she will come to know the love of Jesus in a personal and transformative way.
Finally, we want to leave you with this promise: "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). You are not alone in this. The God of the universe cares deeply about you and your sister, and He is working even now. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

Your prayer though it comes in broken and repeated cries is heard in heaven, for even a staggering prayer from one at his wit's end prevails with God. He is not long in answering though we may be long in praying, and the prayer that seems to have no order or sense in it because the soul reels to and fro is yet understood by the Good Physician who heals the broken in heart.
You have done well to turn to intercessory prayer, for it is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and do not question it, for the prayer of Christ Himself is of this character. Intercessory prayer has been practiced by all the best of God's saints and it is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought. It has stayed plagues and raised the dead, and as to how many souls it has instrumentally saved, eternity shall reveal. When Job prayed for his friends, that prayer was the omen of his returning greatness, the bow in the cloud, the dove bearing the olive branch. So take encouragement that as you plead for your sister and for all upon the earth, you are engaging in that which greatly pleases the Lord.
Remember also that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one. Put forth your finger and touch the hem of His garment, lift your eyes and look to Christ on the Cross, for if the sinner does but come to Jesus he shall find no stint in His healing power.
Therefore let us pray together now. O Lord, look in mercy upon this burdened soul and upon the sister for whom supplication is made. Forgive sin for Jesus Christ's sake, for salvation is through Him alone, and heal what is broken. Let the healing leaves of the tree of life be applied to this family. Hear this intercession for all the earth, and though we are unworthy, grant that many may be turned from the error of their ways, for prayer is the most essential thing in turning sinners to Thyself. Keep this dear one near Thy throne, increase faith by hearing Thy Word, and knit hearts together in love through earnest prayer. Grant peace, sustain in trial, and show Thyself the God who heareth prayer, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer for help for all people on earth and especially for your sister has been heard, and we join our prayers to yours before our Lord Jesus Christ.
We take comfort together in this truth, that Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God by Him, because He ever lives to make intercession for us. He does not fail or die as earthly priests do, but He lives continually, and therefore He is able to help at every moment when we call upon Him. When you cry out, Jesus please help us, you are crying to the One who already stands before the Father on your behalf.
Prayer is a great good and a safeguard for the soul, and God delights to answer when we come with a sincere heart. Continue to tell Him your needs plainly, confess your sins before Him, and persevere in prayer. As you seek mercy for yourself and for your sister, remember also to show mercy to others, for the merciful shall obtain mercy, and God has promised that when we forgive and show kindness, we open our own hearts more fully to receive His mercy.
