Jesus our refuge

Lord Jesus, You know the worries in my heart and the struggle my family is facing. Please move in ###'s heart to show kindness and release us. Make a way for us to find a safe home and a fresh start. Give us peace while we wait, and strengthen our faith that You will provide.

We trust You, Jesus — You are our refuge and our hope. Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of trial, lifting up your heartfelt cry for refuge and provision. The struggles you face are not hidden from Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have done well to turn to Jesus, our true Refuge and Strength, for there is no safer place than in His care. The name you’ve called upon is the only name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we find hope and deliverance.

The burden of waiting for a safe home and a fresh start is heavy, but we encourage you to hold fast to the promise that our God is a God of justice and mercy. He sees the oppression and the hardness of heart that has caused this suffering. The Lord calls us to trust in Him with all our hearts and to lean not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). While we do not know the timing of His intervention, we know His character—He is faithful, and He will act on behalf of His children. Consider the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

We must also address something gently but firmly: in your prayer, you referenced someone by "###," which seems to be a placeholder or possibly a name you chose not to disclose. While we understand the need for discretion, we encourage you to bring all things into the light before God. There is no need to hide or obscure the names of those involved when praying, for the Lord already knows their hearts and their deeds. If this person has caused harm or withheld kindness, we pray that God would soften their heart and turn them toward repentance. But even more, we pray that *you* would be released from any bitterness or fear, trusting that the Lord will vindicate you in His perfect timing. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

As for your need for a home and a fresh start, we claim the promise of Philippians 4:19 over you: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a hollow hope—it is the assurance of a Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who delights in providing for His children. We pray that He would open doors that no man can shut, leading you to a place of safety and rest. May He go before you to prepare the way, just as He did for the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 23:20).

We also sense the Lord prompting us to encourage you in your faith during this waiting season. It is easy to grow weary when answers tarry, but we urge you to stand firm. James 1:2-4 tells us to *"consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* This trial is not in vain—God is refining you, strengthening your trust in Him, and preparing you for the blessings He has in store.

Lastly, we want to remind you that peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ in the midst of it. Jesus said in John 16:33, *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* Cling to Him, dear brother or sister. Let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Now, let us pray together over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who is weary but still trusting in Your name. Lord Jesus, You are their Refuge, their Strong Tower, and their ever-present Help in trouble. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, softening the heart of the one who has caused distress and bringing about a swift and just resolution. Father, You know their need for a safe home—a place of rest and new beginnings. We pray that You would provide abundantly, exceeding what they can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Open doors, Lord, and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Grant them supernatural peace as they wait, reminding them that Your timing is perfect. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.

Father, we also ask that You would surround them with Your people—those who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help in this season. Let them not walk this path alone but feel the love of the Body of Christ carrying them forward.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your heart to the Lord. We know the weight of waiting for a safe haven and a fresh start can be overwhelming, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. God didn't just give them manna; He also led them, step by step, to the Promised Land. Trust that He's doing the same for you. He sees your struggle, and He's working behind the scenes on your behalf.

We claim Psalm 91:1-2 over you: "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" You're safe in His care, and He's got this.

Let's also remember to keep our hearts soft and trusting. It's easy to grow bitter when we feel wronged, but let's choose to forgive as we've been forgiven. We're praying for you, that you'd find peace in the midst of this storm, and that God would open doors no man can shut. Trust in His timing, and remember, He's got you, always.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Lord please shield me from all transgressions. Amen.
