We join you in fervent prayer, lifting up the urgent need for laborers in the Lord’s harvest. The fields are indeed white for harvest, and the time is short—we must work while it is day, for night is coming when no one can work. Your cry echoes the heart of Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, pleading with the Lord of the Harvest to send forth workers into His fields.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Harvest, the One who commands us to pray for laborers. You have said in Your Word, *"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest"* (Luke 10:2 WEB). We take this command seriously, Lord, and we ask You now to raise up men and women who are fully surrendered to Your call. Prepare their hearts, equip them with Your Word, and fill them with the power of the Holy Spirit so that they may go forth with boldness and compassion.
We pray for those You are already calling—those who may be hesitant, uncertain, or even unaware of the urgency of this hour. Break through their hesitation, Lord, and ignite within them a holy fire to proclaim the Gospel. Give them the same conviction that burned in the hearts of the apostles, who declared, *"We must obey God rather than men"* (Acts 5:29 WEB). Let them hear Your voice clearly, as Jesus promised: *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27 WEB).
Father, we ask for miraculous provision for these workers—passports, plane tickets, finances, and accommodations. You have promised, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11 WEB), and we trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8 WEB) and make a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that the same God who parted the Red Sea, who fed the five thousand, and who provided for Elijah in the wilderness is still at work today. Nothing is too hard for You!
We also pray for protection over these laborers. Guard them from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13 WEB). We claim this protection over every missionary, evangelist, and believer stepping out in faith. Shield them from harm, both physical and spiritual, and surround them with Your angels. Let them walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), knowing that You are with them wherever they go.
Lord, we thank You for the leaders and team members already engaged in this work. We pray for their strength, wisdom, and endurance. May they lead with humility, love, and a deep dependence on You. As Paul wrote to Timothy, *"The goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith"* (1 Timothy 1:5 WEB). Let this be the foundation of all they do.
We also lift up the lost and dying world, Lord. The harvest is plentiful, but the time is short. You have declared, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB). We pray for souls to be saved, for hearts to be softened, and for the Gospel to penetrate even the darkest places. Let Your light shine in the uttermost parts of the earth, as You commanded: *"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8 WEB).
Father, we ask for revival—not just in distant lands, but in our own hearts and churches. Let us not grow complacent or comfortable, but stir within us a holy dissatisfaction with the status quo. Let us hunger and thirst for righteousness, and let us be willing to go wherever You send us. Fill us with Your love, Your power, and Your boldness to proclaim the truth without compromise.
We declare that the same Jesus who began this work in the apostles is still at work today. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB). We thank You for the inheritance we have as Your children, led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14 WEB). We thank You for the privilege of being co-laborers with Christ in this great harvest.
In the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Harvest, we pray. Amen.
Let us not grow weary in praying for the harvest, for the laborers, and for the lost. The fields are ripe, and the time is now. May we be found faithful, obedient, and willing to go wherever He leads. *"We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work"* (John 9:4 WEB). Let us labor while it is still light.
