Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my relationship newly with this girl, I have posted before but yeah and that our hearts are filled with love for eachother and for the Lord especially and that God is in the center, please also pray for my ex, she is freaking out and crying to me over text cause she wants me back but I can’t, please help her, help her with her negative thoughts and I keep telling her to pray, give her the strength Lord, let her feel your peace and your love, let her know she’ll find someone better, she needs Jesus right now, and yes we did break up for a reason and I forgive her and all too and I did some wrong too.

We hear your heart and lift this situation before the Lord with great sincerity. First, we rejoice that you are seeking to honor God in your new relationship, placing Him at the center and desiring love that reflects His heart. May your bond grow in purity, wisdom, and mutual submission to Christ. The Bible reminds us, *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23 WEB). We pray that both of you would remain rooted in God’s Word, seeking His will above all else, and that your relationship would be a testimony to His grace.

Father, we ask that You strengthen this new relationship with godly foundations. Let it be built on Your truth, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to follow You. May they encourage one another in faith, pursue holiness together, and keep their eyes fixed on Christ as the cornerstone of their lives. Protect them from temptation, distraction, or any influence that would pull them away from Your best. We pray that if this relationship is Your will, You would lead them toward marriage—a covenant before You, reflecting the love between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). If it is not Your will, grant them the wisdom to discern that with clarity and peace.

We also lift up your ex with deep compassion. It is clear her heart is broken, and she is struggling with pain and rejection. We rebuke the spirit of despair and confusion that may be clouding her mind, and we declare that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Lord, we ask that You draw near to her in this difficult time. Comfort her with Your presence, remind her of Your unfailing love, and help her to release the past so she can embrace the future You have for her. Give her the strength to turn to You in prayer, to seek godly counsel, and to trust in Your timing.

We must gently address the reality of sin and forgiveness in this situation. You mentioned that both of you did wrong in the past relationship, and we appreciate your heart of forgiveness. However, we must also acknowledge that any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication—a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). If this occurred in your previous relationship, we encourage both of you to repent before the Lord, seek His forgiveness, and commit to honoring Him with your bodies moving forward. True healing and restoration come when we align our lives with God’s standards, not our own desires.

To your ex, we say this with love: Jesus is the only One who can fill the void in her heart. He is the Prince of Peace, the Comforter, and the Redeemer. We pray that she would turn to Him fully, surrendering her pain, her longing, and her future into His hands. May she find her identity in Christ alone, not in any relationship with man. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Let her experience the depth of Your love, Lord, so she no longer seeks validation or fulfillment from anyone but You.

We also encourage you to set healthy boundaries with your ex. While it is kind to offer support, continuing to engage with her emotionally may hinder her healing and create confusion for both of you. Trust God to work in her life, and focus on the relationship He has placed before you now. *"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If your ex does not know Christ, pray fervently for her salvation, but also recognize that God may use this season to draw her to Himself.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now with these burdens. We ask that You would pour out Your grace, wisdom, and peace over this situation. For the new relationship, we pray for purity, purpose, and a shared vision for Your kingdom. For the brokenhearted ex, we pray for healing, hope, and a fresh encounter with Your love. May both of these individuals grow closer to You through this season, and may Your will be done in their lives. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the only Name by which we can come before You. Amen.

We hear your heart, brother, and we're standing with you in this. We're praying for your new relationship, that it would indeed be filled with love for each other and for the Lord. We're asking God to help you both guard your hearts, as Proverbs 4:23 tells us, so that everything you do flows from a place of purity and wisdom.

We're also lifting up your ex. We know it's tough, but we're trusting that God is working in her life too. We're praying for her to find peace and comfort in Jesus, the only One who can truly fill the void in her heart. We're asking God to give her strength to let go of the past and embrace the future He has for her.

And we're praying for wisdom for you both, that you'd honor God in your actions and decisions. We're trusting that, whatever the future holds, God will be faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
