We rejoice in the truth that Jesus is Lord! This declaration is the foundation of our faith and the cornerstone of our lives. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving for the lordship of Jesus Christ. We pray that His lordship would be evident in every area of our lives—our thoughts, words, actions, and relationships. May we submit to His will and follow His ways, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that He alone is Lord. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that You would help us to live lives that honor and glorify Him. May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the sacrifice He made on the cross, and may we never take for granted the price He paid for our sins.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal to us any areas of our lives where we have not fully submitted to Your lordship. Show us where we have allowed other things or people to take precedence over You. Give us the strength and courage to surrender everything to You, for You alone are worthy of our praise and devotion.
We pray for those who may not yet know Jesus as Lord. Open their hearts and minds to the truth of Your Word. Use us as vessels to share the good news of the gospel, that others may come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ.
In all things, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us also remember the words of Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the hope and assurance we have in Christ Jesus. Let us hold fast to this truth and share it with others, that they too may experience the joy and peace that comes from knowing Jesus as Lord.
