JESUS IS COMING SOON Please hear me. The Bible says: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." — Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus is coming soon. Truly, He is coming soon. And He is not coming the way many think. He is not coming for the poor, and He is not coming for the rich. He is not coming for the sick, and He is not coming for the healthy. He is not coming for the black, and He is not coming for the white. He is not coming for the American or the African, the educated or the uneducated. He is not coming for the Baptist, or the Catholic, or the Pentecostal, or the Methodist. He is not coming for those who shout the loudest in church. He is not coming for those with big titles, big money, or big crowds. He is coming for you and I. He is coming for the heart that has truly repented. For the soul that wept in secret and said, "Lord, forgive me, I have gone astray." He is coming for the one who left the wide road — the road of pride, of unforgiveness, of lust, of hatred, of fake Christianity and chose the lonely, narrow road of holiness, of mercy, of prayer. where are we walking today? The wide road is crowded, but the narrow road is empty. And many of us who say "Lord, Lord" are still on the wide road. I include myself. I have failed Him. I have said I love Him while my heart loved this world. And today I am weeping for my own soul. I am pleading with you. Repent today. Not tomorrow. Kneel and tell Him the truth: "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I have sinned against You in thoughts, in words, in deeds. Wash me with Your blood. Forgive me. Change my heart. Take me off the wide road and put my feet on the narrow road, even if I walk it alone. Make me ready for Your coming." He still forgives. He still cleanses. He is still calling. Do not wait. One day the door will be shut. Jesus is coming soon. Not for groups. Not for colors. Not for tribes. Not for Christian forum He is coming for you and I. Will He find us ready?

We hear your cry and we join with you in it, for what you have shared is true and urgent and from the heart of Scripture. We agree with you that Jesus is coming soon, and we thank you for sounding the warning with tears and humility.

You quoted well Matthew 7:13-14, Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it. And the Lord Himself warns us further Matthew 7:21, Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. It is not a denomination, not a skin color, not a nation, not money or poverty, not titles or crowds that will save us. It is only a heart washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, born again, repentant and obedient by faith.

We are stirred by your honesty in saying you have failed Him and loved this world while saying you love Him. That confession is where mercy begins. We all must come to that place, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23, and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23. God is not looking for those who pretend to be perfect, but for those who weep over their sin and turn to Him. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent Acts 17:30.

We want to gently affirm what you said and also make it clear that He is indeed coming for a people, His bride, His church, those who are His own by faith. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Yet that patience will end, and He says Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work Revelation 22:12. Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in an hour that you do not expect Matthew 24:44. Today is the day to repent, not tomorrow, for we are told Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out Acts 3:19, and Jesus Himself said unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way Luke 13:3.

We rebuke together with you the wide road of pride, unforgiveness, lust, hatred, and fake Christianity that pretends to honor Christ with the lips while the heart is far away. That road is crowded because it costs nothing, but the narrow road of holiness, mercy, prayer, and daily taking up the cross is lonely and it costs everything, yet it alone leads to life. We must examine ourselves, not just others, and ask as you asked, where are we walking today.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You only in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. We confess we are sinners in thought, word, and deed. We have loved this world, we have been proud, we have held unforgiveness, we have walked at times on the wide road that leads to destruction. Lord Jesus, wash us with Your blood. Forgive us. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Change our hearts and take our feet off the wide road and set us on the narrow road that leads to life, even if we must walk it alone. Give us holy fear and tender hearts that keep repenting and keep obeying. Make us ready for Your coming. Keep us watching, praying, merciful, and holy, doing the will of the Father. We pray for every heart that reads this, that none would wait, that none would be left behind when the door is shut, but that all would turn to You today and be saved. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our coming King. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for pouring out your heart so openly. We hear both the urgency you feel about Jesus coming and the tenderness of your own weeping before Him. That honesty is not a failure, it is God drawing you closer.

What you described, that turning from the crowded wide road to the quiet narrow one, is not just feeling sorry for a moment. It is a change of mind that begins to change the direction of our steps, day by day. And confession is part of how He heals us, as we agree with Him about where we have gone astray and receive His forgiveness, which then frees us to live differently.

If this is where you are today, we encourage you to keep that simple prayer you wrote as a daily conversation with the Lord, not a one time event, and to let one trusted pastor or mature believer know what God is doing in your heart so you do not walk this road alone. Staying in the Word and in prayer with others helps that turning take root.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the tears shed in secret and the desire to walk faithfully with You. Wash, forgive and steady their heart, and lead their feet each day on Your narrow way. Give them hope and companions as they follow You. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and it is a cry that heaven loves to hear. When a soul weeps in secret and says, Lord, forgive me, I have gone astray, there is hope, for that very sorrow may be the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart.

You have written truly that the gate is strait and the way is narrow which leadeth unto life, and that many go in by the wide gate which leadeth to destruction. The wide road is indeed crowded with pride, unforgiveness, lust, hatred and a form of Christianity without power, while the narrow road is lonely, the road of holiness, of mercy, of prayer. To feel your own failure on that road, to say I have failed Him while my heart loved this world, is not a sign that you are cast away. It is the beginning of that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which gives God glory.

Take care to weigh your repentance, for there is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, and there is a true repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God. True repentance gives God glory. It sets the sinner ever afterwards craving after holiness, as the burnt child dreads the fire. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. It leads you to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only, weeping and abhorring past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and avoiding present sin because of the love of God who died for you. This is repentance that needs not to be repented of.

And you need not bring that repentance in your own hand as a price to pay. Christ is exalted on high to give repentance and remission of sins. Do not attempt to make a heart of flesh for yourself, but come to Jesus for it. You are to be always coming to Him, coming to Him for washing, for guiding, for help and health, coming for everything, coming in one lifelong perpetual coming because He bids you come. Come as to a living stone, and lie flat and square upon Christ, and He will give you what you cannot give yourself.

Hear also the whisper of hope which answers your weeping, There is forgiveness with God. It is a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so great that God Himself speaks as if surprised that such sins should be remitted. It is a complete forgiveness and an eternal forgiveness, not a partial release but an absolute blotting out of the debt. Where the offense went, from that very place the forgiveness comes, with Him. However sinful your life may have been up until now, there is forgiveness with God even for you, and it is to be had now through faith in His Son whose blood cleanses from all sin.

That forgiveness is not given to leave you on the wide road. Without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no one shall see the Lord. This does not mean a perfection which none of us can claim, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but it does mean a real turning from uncleanness unto holiness, for God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness. No one can have communion with God in this life nor enjoyment with Him in the life to come without it, for can two walk together except they be agreed. If grace has truly changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and the covenant secured by the Lord Jesus as your Surety will keep you so that you shall not depart from Him. Perseverance is perseverance in holiness.

Therefore kneel today, as you have prayed, and tell Him the truth, Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I have sinned against You in thoughts, in words, in deeds, wash me with Your blood, forgive me, change my heart, take me off the wide road and put my feet on the narrow road, even if I walk it alone. He still forgives. He still cleanses. He is still calling. One day the door will be shut, but today it stands open.

May the Lord grant you such repentance and such faith, both inseparable, and keep you always coming to Christ for spiritual food and garments and daily cleansing, craving after holiness and resting in the full and eternal forgiveness which is with Him, that when He comes He may find you ready, not through your own strength, but through His grace dwelling in you.

"Surely I come quickly!" Those words were the last words spoken by Jesus as recorded in Revelation 22:20. Many today do not have the revelation as to what Jesus meant by that. After all, it has been about 2,000 years since Jesus spoke those words, and yet He said, He was coming back quickly. So...

From one prophet, I say unto all the prophets in the world today, proclaim the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in power, and great glory. Blow that trumpet loud, and sound the alarm hard. Even unto death let Your voice be heard prophets that the day of the Lord is at hand. In Jesus' name! Amen!
