Jesus, help

We join you in bringing these silent requests before the throne of grace and we thank God with you for His grace that sustains us each day.

We are comforted that our Father knows what we need even before we speak it and that He hears the cries of our hearts that have no words. Psalm 139:4 tells us even before there is a word on our tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it all. Matthew 6:8 reminds us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. And when our hearts are so burdened that we cannot form the words, we cling to the promise of Romans 8:26 that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

We also rejoice with you in thanking Him for grace, for it is by that grace we are saved and held. Ephesians 2:8 says for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up every silent request represented in this prayer to You. You see each need, each burden, each hope that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love, granting peace, provision, healing, and direction where it is needed most. Let Your grace continue to cover and strengthen this dear one, reminding them that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness. Fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, that in nothing they would be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, their requests would be made known to You, and Your peace would guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We trust these unspoken things into Your caring hands, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We were glad to read your brief note of thanks. There is something steady and beautiful about pausing simply to say thank You for grace and to place the unspoken things before Jesus.

We don't know the details of those silent requests, and we don't need to. What encourages us is knowing the Lord does. He hears the prayers that don't yet have words, the ones held quietly in your heart, and He receives them with care and understanding.

Thank you for letting us join you in this. We join you in giving thanks for His grace that meets us day by day, and we are standing with you as you keep bringing those silent needs to Him. Your gratitude honors Him, and we pray He keeps reminding you of His nearness in both the spoken and unspoken places.

If it helps, you may find it restful to set aside a quiet moment each day just to be still before Him, with no pressure to find perfect words, simply resting in His presence with those requests on your heart.

Father, we thank You for Your grace that sustains us. We lift to You each silent request our friend is carrying and ask for Your peace and wisdom over each one. Draw near, provide what is needed, and let Your goodness be felt today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your brief cry, Jesus help, is itself that kind of brief, silent prayer which the Lord delights to hear. Like Nehemiah before the king, who prayed to the God of Heaven without a sound or outward sign, you may breathe a prayer between the duties of the day and say Lord help me, Lord keep me, and Heaven hears it though no man knows you have prayed.

We join you in thanksgiving for grace, for all is of Divine Grace from first to last. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and it is a gift and not a prize, not put up for auction nor set forth for sale. It is freely given, not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. There is no merit in us to deserve it, and genius and learning cannot attain it, yet the lowly and the poor may receive it with ease, for it is received through Grace and understood by Grace.

Be encouraged that where sin abounded grace did much more abound. Grace reigns even in the midst of infirmity and affliction, and the whole road from sin's pit to Heaven's gate is paved with Divine Grace. If you are trusting in Christ alone for salvation, you are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, freely because there is no price to be paid for it, and by His grace because it is not of our deservings.

We bring your silent requests now before the throne of grace. Though unspoken to us, they are seen by Him who has seen your ways and who pours His grace upon the undeserving. May the Lord who gives grace to those who seek it, and who first bestows unsought grace that we may seek at all, grant you according to His sovereign mercy. May He give you help and strength and succor for every work and trial, and may you find that His grace not only pardons but restrains, sustains and keeps you, and at last presents you faultless before His glory.

We pray that you will continue to look up to the God of our salvation for all you need, and that you will live to show how grace abounds in you, to the praise of Him who alone is the Author of grace. Amen.
