I feel like im being punished does God hate me or angry with me. My foot is Infected. Im tired of all the struggles I want to give up

We hear the deep pain and exhaustion in your words, and we want you to know that we are lifting you up before the Lord with heavy hearts. You have endured so much, physical agony, financial strain, displacement, and the weight of feeling abandoned or even punished by God. But we must tell you with love and conviction: God does not hate you. The Bible tells us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Your suffering is real, but it is not a sign of His rejection. In fact, Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He sees your tears, your frustration, and your weariness, and He longs to carry this burden with you.

We must gently rebuke the lie that God is punishing you. Scripture assures us that "there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). If you have placed your trust in Jesus as your Savior, you are not under wrath but under grace. Even in suffering, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). But if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to consider this: Jesus bore the punishment for sin on the cross so that you would not have to. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no other name, only Jesus can reconcile you to God and give you true hope.

Your foot infection is a serious concern, and we are praying fervently for healing. The Bible says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). We encourage you to seek godly believers who can pray over you and anoint you with oil, trusting God for restoration. We also urge you to follow your doctor’s instructions diligently, God often works through medical care.

The financial strain and loss of independence are overwhelming, but we serve a God who "executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry" (Psalm 146:7). We pray that He will open doors for provision, whether through disability support, community assistance, or unexpected blessings. You are not forgotten.

You mentioned feeling like giving up. Beloved, we beg you, do not lose heart. The enemy wants you to believe that your pain is meaningless, but God promises that "our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17). Your suffering is not in vain. Even in this season of waiting, God is shaping your character, deepening your dependence on Him, and preparing you for the purposes He has for you.

Let us pray for you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother/sister who is enduring so much pain, physically, emotionally, and financially. Lord, we reject the lie that You have abandoned or punished him/her. Your Word says You are close to the brokenhearted, and we ask that You draw near now. Touch his/her foot, Lord, and bring complete healing to the infection and reconstruction. Restore strength and mobility according to Your will. Provide for every financial need, Father, and give wisdom to navigate this season of dependence. We pray against despair, Lord. Fill him/her with Your peace that surpasses understanding and remind him/her of Your unfailing love. Help him/her to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness, reveal it, Lord, so that he/she may walk in freedom. We declare that this trial will not break him/her but will be used for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to cling to God’s promises even when your emotions scream otherwise. Write down verses like Jeremiah 29:11 ("For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future") and speak them aloud over your life. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness. This season is hard, but it is not the end of your story. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep fighting the good fight of faith. You are loved more than you know.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Why do we think God hates us at times?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

We are so sorry you're carrying this much weight all at once. A crushed foot, major surgery, weeks without walking, losing your own place and your income, an infection on top of it all, that's not one hardship, that's a whole landslide, and anyone would feel flattened by it. When you add the quiet fear that God might be angry or has left you, it becomes absolutely exhausting. We hear that.

What you're feeling isn't proof that God has abandoned you. Pain and loss have a way of shouting so loudly that they drown out every other voice, including the voice of the Father who has not moved. Your crushed foot is not a punishment. Sometimes terrible things happen in a broken world, and faithful people get caught in the wreckage without it meaning God is settling scores. Think of Job, sitting in the ash heap scraping his sores, wanting to give up, certain God had turned against him, and yet God had not. He was closer than Job could feel.

There's a real, practical need here too: you mentioned your foot is infected. We want to gently but firmly encourage you to have a doctor or wound-care team look at that as soon as possible, if you haven't already. An infection after this kind of reconstruction needs professional eyes. That's not a failure of faith; it's good stewardship of the body God gave you, and it matters to us that you're safe.

We also know that when you can't work and can't walk and you're living back at home, the losses stack up, not just money, but independence, dignity, a sense of forward motion. That grief is real, and you don't have to pretend it's not. It's okay to name it, cry over it, and still bring it honestly to God, even if all you have to offer right now is "I'm tired and I don't understand."

Lord Jesus, you see this heavy, frightened person. You know every ache in that foot, the frustration of depending on others, the fear that somehow You've turned away. Quiet that lie. Give them one small sign of Your nearness today, maybe a moment of relief, a kind word, a little sleep without worry. Bring healing to that infection, and steady their heart when the waiting feels too long. Hold them close when they have no strength left to hold on. In Your name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant wisdom and strength to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It is a true word that your bones are dried and your hope seems cut off. You have spoken honestly of your calamity, and there is no sin in confessing the desolation you feel. The crushed bones, the torn ligaments, the infection, the loss of your dwelling and your wages, these are not fictions or sentimental grievances. They are real evils, and He who dealt with actual diseases and urgent needs is not unmindful of your present misery. The multitude brought their intense sicknesses to Him, and He healed all who had need of healing. Your need is deep and undoubted, and therefore it is precisely the kind of case He attends to with mighty love.

But you have spoken an evil word that goes beyond the truth. You ask if He has left you, if He hates you, if you are being punished. This is the language of despair that casts a doubt upon the possibility of your salvation and misjudges the heart of God. Look at the process He willingly underwent to become a perfect Savior. He left the comforts of heaven, endured the drudgery of this sin-cursed world, and submitted to death on a tree, and you believe He undertook all that self-denial only to cast you off when your foot is broken? The very fact that He bled and died to fit Himself to save sinners is the loudest proclamation that He is willing to exercise that office for you. Shall the nurse who trained through hospitals turn away the sick at the door? Shall the physician who prepared the remedy refuse to administer it? The Son of God delights in being food for the poor in spirit. None are so empty, so crippled, so brought to beggary that they are excluded from His table.

You mistake the character of your affliction. It has not a trace of the curse in it. His strange work is judgment, His delight is mercy. He does not willingly afflict the children of men. If you are His, these pains are not penal but medicinal, not the lash of the executioner but the knife of the surgeon who must cut to heal. The refiner sits not to destroy the silver but to purge it of dross. Your heart may be warmed by this trial to melt the snow of worldliness, to kindle a fire of prayer where before there was frost. I charge you to bring your own sins to the cross afresh, not to imagine them the cause of a special vengeance, but to see them carried away by the great Sin-bearer in one complete sacrifice. The covenant of grace provides a perfected salvation for the unworthy, and even your infection and weariness cannot undo what He has finished.

Jesus is still called the friend of publicans and sinners, not in the sense of abetting your unbelief or excusing your despair, but in that He draws near to you in your misery to deliver you from it. He has not forgotten how to be the companion of the poor and the needy. Look not upon your feelings, nor upon your ruined foot, nor upon your empty purse. Look unto Him. As the bronze serpent was lifted up so that the bitten Israelite had only to turn his eye, so Christ is lifted up for you. One glance of faith will do more for your soul than months of fretting introspection. Your hope is not lost because God is not lost. He will open this grave of pain and bring you out into a land of knowing that He is the Lord. Cease the talk of giving up, for the grace that would sustain you to the end is not your own but His, and He has never yet allowed a soul to perish who clung to Him with even a trembling hand. Believe and live.

You left me so long ago. I guess you knew then what I have come to realize: I'm a piece of trash that should be thrown out/disposed of. I'm a burden and should no longer exist. I've begged you for a year now to take me and wake daily extremely disappointed that I'm still here. I'm in emotional...
