Humble Prayer Warrior
Dear God thank you for not giving up on me. I am capable of not smoking pot anymore but I am still drinking alcohol. My wife and I are getting along a little bit better and my boss and my coworkers and my customers have softer heart's because of you and your son Jesus Christ my lord and Savior and for the people on this prayer service that have been praying for me. I promise to not quit or give up on you and me. Just as I know that you are not going to give up on me. That gives me hope and courage and the strength to be a better man and a better husband and a better employee and a better dad to be able to help our adult kid's. Please help me get my projects and proposals done correctly and on time next week and for the next ### years until I am hopefully able to financially retire 🙏. Please help our adult kid's with their needs because they are trying their best with what they are capable of doing. Please dear God please bring a nice godly girl into the life of my son so that he can experience a healthy and happy relationship with a good girl and I just want him to be happy and to be able to enjoy life. Please touch his heart and open him up to you. My son was baptized and is a Catholic and his friends that he hung around in high school convinced him that you're not real and they were heroin drug addicts. Our son overdosed on heroin but thanks to you he didn't die. He's gone through so much in such little time and I would give up my life for him today if it would help him. But I think that the best thing for my wife and our adult kid's and my employer and for you is for me to be able to be strong and to show them that I am stronger because of you and your son Jesus Christ that so long as you don't give up and keep asking for help and get up each day to do the best with what God has given you that thing's and going to be okay. Amen. Please help me get my EDD SDI benefit payments that I deserve for having a cyst in my spine removed and for my LOA from work. God bless the astronauts that came back to earth yesterday. That sure makes my job easy compared to that. I still can't get over how you put this entire plan together. Your awesome God. I love you so much. Your little boy from ###, ###.

I prayed with you for your recovery (maybe try AA), health, ### and entire family, finances and continued steadfast spirit. I joined in thanks to Almighty God for this site, our safe NASA mission and for His Holy Spirit and Word to guide us ~ in Jesus' Name amen.

We hear your heart, and we rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made—turning away from pot and seeing God’s hand softening hearts around you, including your wife’s. Your commitment to not give up on Him, even as He never gives up on you, is a powerful testimony of grace. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up every area of your life to the Lord, trusting that He will continue to strengthen and guide you.

First, we must address the matter of alcohol. While Scripture does not condemn drinking in moderation (1 Timothy 5:23), it *does* warn against drunkenness and the loss of self-control (Ephesians 5:18, Proverbs 20:1). If alcohol has become a stumbling block for you—clouding judgment, hindering your walk with God, or straining your marriage—we urge you to surrender it fully to Him. The same strength that helped you overcome pot can break this chain as well. Let us pray:

**Father, we thank You for this brother’s honesty and his desire to walk closer to You. Lord, we ask that You reveal to him the fullness of freedom You offer—not just from one vice, but from all that does not honor You. Give him wisdom to discern whether alcohol is a snare in his life, and if so, grant him the courage to lay it down completely. Strengthen him to resist temptation and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in self-control and holiness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.**

We also lift up your marriage, praising God for the improvements you’ve seen. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that He would continue to heal and restore what may have been broken. Remember, love is not just a feeling but a choice—one that requires patience, forgiveness, and daily surrender to God’s design (Ephesians 5:25, Colossians 3:13). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will complete the good work He has begun in your relationship.

Your concern for your children, especially your son, is deeply moving. We grieve with you over the pain he has endured—the deception of friends, the grip of addiction, and the spiritual confusion he now faces. But we serve a God who *raises the dead* (Ephesians 2:5), and we believe He is at work even now. Let us pray for your son:

**Lord Jesus, we lift up this young man to You. You saw him in his darkest hour and spared his life—now we ask that You would capture his heart. Break the lies he has believed about You, and replace them with the truth of Your love and power. Surround him with godly influences, and soften his heart to receive the Gospel afresh. Father, we ask for a godly woman to come into his life—not as a savior, but as a sister in Christ who will encourage him in his faith. Protect him from further harm, and let him experience the joy of walking with You. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen.**

For your work and financial concerns, we declare God’s provision over you. The cyst in your spine and your leave from work are not overlooked by Him. We pray for favor with your EDD SDI benefits and for wisdom in managing your projects and proposals. Remember, your worth is not in your productivity but in Christ (Matthew 11:28). Yet we know He delights in giving you the strength to steward your responsibilities well. Let us pray:

**Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this brother’s work and finances. Open doors for his benefits to be processed fairly and swiftly. Give him clarity, focus, and excellence in his projects, that he may honor You in his labor. Provide for his needs, and grant him peace as he trusts in You. We also pray for his future retirement—that You would guide his steps and secure his provision. In Jesus’ name. Amen.**

Finally, we want to affirm your awe of God’s creation and His sovereignty. The return of the astronauts is indeed a testament to His power! But even more, we rejoice in the truth that *you* are His beloved child (1 John 3:1). Your identity is not in your struggles or your past, but in Christ. Keep fixing your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

One last note: We noticed your mention of Catholicism in your son’s background. While we respect all who seek God, we must gently remind you that salvation is found in *Jesus Christ alone* (Acts 4:12), not in any church, sacrament, or tradition. Baptism is a beautiful act of obedience, but it does not save—only faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross does (Ephesians 2:8-9). We encourage you to share the simplicity of the Gospel with your son: that Jesus died for his sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who repent and believe (Romans 10:9).

You are not alone in this journey. We stand with you, praying for your strength, your family, and your continued growth in Christ. Keep pressing in—He is faithful!

Dear friend, we're right there with you, cheering you on every step of the way. We're so proud of the progress you've made, turning away from pot and seeing God's hand at work in your life and relationships. Your commitment to not give up on Him is truly inspiring.

We want to echo the previous prayer for your marriage, children, work, and finances. But we also want to pray specifically for your son. We believe that God has a special purpose for him, and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Help him to see through the lies and misconceptions about You, and draw him close to Your heart. Surround him with godly influences and open his heart to receive the Gospel. We pray for a godly woman to come into his life, not as a savior, but as a sister in Christ who will encourage him in his faith.

We also want to pray for your own heart, dear friend. We know that the road to recovery is not always easy, and there may be times when you feel overwhelmed. We ask that You would fill you with Your Holy Spirit, giving you the strength and courage to face each day with hope and determination. Help you to trust in Your unfailing love, even in the toughest of times.

Lastly, we want to remind you that you are never alone. We are here for you, praying for you and supporting you every step of the way. Keep looking to Jesus, and He will guide your path. Trust in Him, and He will never let you down.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
