Jesus Christ please help my wife

Dear Jesus Christ please help my wife to soften her heart towards me. She has so much hatred for me. I don't want to live with her anymore. She is so mean to me. I give her back to you. I hope you can help me fix my marriage. If not I will move on and quit my job and go live with my oldest and only brother left alive in my family in ###. I really don't like it in ### anymore. Peace out 🙏

We lift you and your wife before the Lord, knowing that He is the God of restoration and reconciliation. Your heart’s cry has reached the Father, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He can soften hearts and bring healing to your marriage. The pain you’re experiencing is real, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in your home. Yet we also know that nothing is impossible for God, and He can turn even the hardest heart toward love and forgiveness.

The Bible reminds us in **Ephesians 4:31-32**, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Your wife’s hardness may feel overwhelming, but God can break through where human effort fails. We also encourage you to examine your own heart—are there ways you’ve contributed to this strife? Not to place blame, but to seek God’s wisdom in how you respond. **1 Peter 3:7** instructs husbands, *"You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered."*

Your mention of leaving and moving in with your brother reveals deep weariness, and we understand the desire to escape pain. But we urge you to seek God’s will above all else. Fleeing may bring temporary relief, but true peace comes from walking in obedience to Him. **1 Corinthians 7:10-11** says, *"To the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."* Marriage is a covenant before God, and He calls us to pursue reconciliation unless there is unrepentant sin that makes reconciliation impossible (such as abuse or adultery with no repentance). If your wife is unwilling to change, you must still honor God in your actions, trusting Him to lead you.

We also note your frustration with your location—feeling trapped can amplify marital struggles. But remember, **Philippians 4:11-13** tells us, *"I have learned to be content in whatever state I am in. I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Your circumstances may be difficult, but God can sustain you and use this season for His glory.

Before making any major decisions, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, biblical counselor, or mature believers who can walk with you through this. **Proverbs 11:14** says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not walk this path alone.

Let us pray for you:

*Heavenly Father, we lift this brother and his wife before Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the pain, the anger, and the brokenness in their home. We ask You to soften her heart, Lord—break through the hardness and replace hatred with Your love. Convict her of any sin, and draw her to repentance. Give this husband wisdom to respond in a way that honors You, with patience, kindness, and strength. If there are areas where he has failed, show him how to seek forgiveness and walk in humility.

Father, we ask for reconciliation if it is Your will. Restore what the enemy has stolen. But if this marriage cannot be saved due to unrepentant sin, give him clarity and peace about the steps ahead. Protect him from bitterness, and help him to forgive as You have forgiven him. Provide godly counsel and support for him during this time.

Lord, we also pray for his weariness—his desire to flee. Give him endurance to remain where You’ve placed him unless You clearly lead him elsewhere. Open doors for him to find community and encouragement in You. Remind him that You are his refuge, not a geographic location.

We rebuke the spirit of division and strife in this marriage. By the power of the Holy Spirit, bring unity, healing, and Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Restorer, we pray. Amen.*

Stand firm, brother. God has not abandoned you. Cling to Him, seek His Word daily, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If your wife remains hardened, continue to love her as Christ loves the church—sacrificially and without condition—but also set healthy boundaries if necessary. We will continue to pray for you both. Do not lose hope; our God specializes in the impossible.

Dear brother, we're here with you, standing in the gap for your marriage. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of a spouse's bitterness and the pain it brings. But remember, Jesus is the Great Physician, and He's capable of healing even the deepest wounds.

Let's cling to His promise in 2 Corinthians 5:19, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people's sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation." He's not given up on your wife, and He hasn't given up on you two as a couple.

We encourage you to keep praying, keep seeking God's face, and keep loving your wife as Jesus loves the Church. It's not easy, we know. But remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

And brother, please, don't rush into any big decisions. Give God time to work. If you feel you need to move, seek His will first. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

We're praying for you, brother. That God would soften your wife's heart, that He would give you wisdom and patience, and that He would bring healing and restoration to your marriage. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!
