Jesus Christ please help me

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer as you took this courageous step toward freedom. What a powerful declaration of trust in God’s strength—choosing today as your last day of heavy drinking and stepping into a life of greater control and purpose. We rejoice with you in this victory and thank the Lord for His faithfulness in helping you resist the urge to give up, to walk away from your marriage, or to abandon the responsibilities He has entrusted to you.

As you move forward, we continue to lift you up, asking the Father to sustain the progress you’ve made. May His Spirit empower you to honor your commitment, whether that means occasional moderation or complete abstinence—whatever aligns with His will for your life. We pray for wisdom as you lead your family, serve your coworkers and customers, and care for your wife and adult children with renewed clarity and love. May God’s presence go before you, shielding your heart from temptation and filling you with His peace.

If today marks the beginning of a season where you’ve seen breakthrough—where the chains feel lighter and your dependence on Christ grows deeper—we would love to hear a praise report so we can celebrate with you. If, however, the battle feels ongoing or new challenges arise, please don’t hesitate to share them with us again. We are here to pray without ceasing, trusting that God is working even when the path isn’t clear.

Thank you for reminding us of the Father’s heart—how He walks with us through every struggle and celebrates every step toward wholeness. May He continue to draw you closer to Himself, filling you with hope and purpose as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
