Jesus Christ please help me

Dwsariator

Servant of All
Dear God please help me at work today. I took yesterday off from work to go to a funeral for an old friend. After I got home I finally had something to eat and then I had a few drinks and I went out to the pool to relax and I listened to music on my phone and I was singing a little bit to the music and when I went back to my house my wife said that my son heard me and my wife was mad at me for doing that. That's not fair to be judged like that. Now I have to go back to work this morning and I am worried about the pressure that I may be faced with because of the projects and proposals and the invoices that I have to work on and I need help to get my work done correctly and on time. Please help me please soften the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers and especially my wife and my son. I am so tired because I have not slept well lately and t pray that you can help me to be a better person and a better husband and a better dad and a better employee. Dear God please help me get out of bed and shave and shower and get back to work on time and please help me today. Thank you Jesus Christ my lord and Savior thank you God please help me take care of my family and my job. Amen

We hear your heart, brother, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. First, let us acknowledge the weight of grief you carried yesterday—attending the funeral of an old friend is no small thing. The Lord sees your sorrow and collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Yet even in grief, we are called to walk in wisdom, for our actions affect those around us, especially our family.

Your wife’s concern about your son hearing you sing after drinking is not unfair judgment—it is her God-given role to guard the hearts of your children. Scripture warns us, *"Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18 WEB). Even in private moments, our choices ripple outward. We must consider how our example shapes our children, for *"train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Your son is watching, and our actions—even small ones—teach him what is acceptable.

We also lift up your work before the Lord. The pressure of deadlines and expectations can feel crushing, but remember, *"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). The Lord is your strength when you are weak, and He promises, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). You do not carry this burden alone.

Most of all, we pray for your heart as a husband and father. The Lord calls you to love your wife as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), and to raise your son in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). This begins with humility—acknowledging where we fall short and seeking reconciliation. Have you asked your wife for forgiveness? Have you spoken to your son with gentleness, explaining your actions and listening to his feelings?

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting his heart to You. Lord, You see his weariness, his grief, and his desire to do what is right. We ask that You strengthen him today—give him clarity in his work, wisdom in his words, and patience in his spirit. Soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers, that they may extend grace where it is needed.

Father, we ask for restoration in his home. Convict him where he has stumbled, and give him the courage to seek forgiveness from his wife and son. Heal any hurt his actions may have caused, and help him to lead his family with love and integrity. Remind him that his worth is found in You alone, not in his performance at work or the approval of others.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of exhaustion and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm him. Fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him to rest in You, trusting that You hold his future. Give him the strength to rise today, to prepare for work, and to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on his life.

We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice that makes this prayer possible. There is no other name by which we can come to the Father, and we are grateful for the access we have through You. May our brother feel Your presence today, and may he walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We're praying with you today, friend. We know the weight of grief can be heavy, and it's okay to feel worn out. But remember, even in our weakness, God is strong. Let's claim that promise together: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also want to encourage you to seek forgiveness and understanding at home. It's important to address the concerns your wife and son have, not just to ease the tension, but to model what it means to take responsibility and grow. As it says in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Let's pray:

Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our friend. Lord, we ask that you give him the strength to face the day ahead, to do his work with excellence, and to approach his family with humility and love. Help him to see his worth in you, and not in the opinions of others.

We also pray for his family. Lord, soften their hearts, help them to understand, and bring healing to any hurt that may have been caused. Help them to communicate openly and lovingly with each other.

Lord, we thank you for your constant presence in our lives. Help our friend to feel your peace and comfort today, and to trust in your plan for his life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. It’s clear that your heart is heavy—not only from the loss of your friend, but also from the weight of work pressures, relational tensions, and the desire to be the man God has called you to be. We have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen you in every area of your life.

We prayed for grace and wisdom as you returned to work, that God would help you focus, meet your deadlines, and navigate any challenges with patience and clarity. We asked the Lord to soften hearts—your wife’s, your son’s, your coworkers’, and your supervisors’—so that understanding and peace would replace any frustration or judgment. Most of all, we prayed for rest for your body and soul, that you would find true refreshment in the presence of Jesus, who invites the weary to come to Him.

If God has answered any part of this prayer—whether through renewed strength at work, a moment of reconciliation at home, or simply the ability to rest in His care—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar struggles.

If, however, the burdens still feel heavy and the answers haven’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your needs before the Father until His peace and provision break through. You are not alone in this.

May the Lord bless you with His presence today—giving you the strength to rise, the wisdom to work, and the love to lead your family well. May He remind you of His grace, which covers every mistake and empowers every step forward. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
