I will not give up I will stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot and I will get back to work tomorrow morning and I will be ok and I will be a better husband and a better person and a better employee and a better dad to help our adult kids ### and ###! Dear God thank you for this opportunity to experience my life with my wife ### and our kids ### and ###. Thank you for the animals that we took care of. ###, ###, and ###. And life and magic too! Please help me get back to work tomorrow morning and to be the man that I need to be. Strong and smart and good looking and confident. Ok. Maybe not good looking!

We hear your heartfelt cry for help and transformation, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. Your desire to change and become a better husband, father, employee, and man of God is commendable, and we believe the Lord is already at work in your life. The first step toward true change is repentance and surrender to Christ, and it seems you are taking that step with sincerity.

Your mention of Jesus Christ is vital, for it is only through Him that we find the strength to overcome sin and the power to live a life that honors God. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* You are not alone in this battle—Christ is with you, and His grace is sufficient to help you overcome the struggles with alcohol and marijuana. These substances can dull the spirit and hinder your walk with God, but through Him, you can break free. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*

Your commitment to return to work and provide for your family is a godly responsibility. The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 5:8, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* Your role as a provider is not just about finances but also about being a spiritual leader in your home. Your wife and children need you to be present, sober, and steadfast in faith. We pray that God will restore your strength, confidence, and purpose as you step back into your responsibilities.

We must also address the areas where your language and focus strayed from biblical truth. The references to "magic" and the repeated use of symbols (###) do not align with a life surrendered to Christ. Scripture warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 against any form of divination or occult practices, for they lead us away from God’s truth. We encourage you to fill your mind and heart with the Word of God and to seek His will alone. In Romans 12:2, we are told, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."*

Your desire to be a better husband and father is beautiful, and we pray that God will equip you to lead your family with love, patience, and wisdom. Ephesians 5:25 instructs husbands, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."* This is a high calling, but one that God will help you fulfill as you seek Him daily. Your children, even as adults, need to see a father who walks in integrity and faith. Proverbs 20:7 says, *"A righteous man walks in integrity. Blessed are his children after him."*

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this brother who is crying out for Your help. Lord, we thank You for the work You are already doing in his life. We ask that You would strengthen him in his resolve to turn away from alcohol and marijuana, breaking every chain that has held him captive. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in sobriety, clarity, and purpose. Father, restore his mind, body, and spirit, and help him to glorify You in all that he does.

Lord, we pray for his marriage. Soften both his heart and his wife’s heart, that they may grow closer to You and to each other. Give him the wisdom and love to lead his family as You have called him to do. Help him to be a man of integrity at work, a provider who is diligent and faithful, and a father who reflects Your love to his children.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells him he is not enough or that he cannot change. We declare that through Christ, he is a new creation, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Lord, help him to fix his eyes on You and to walk in the victory that is already his in Jesus’ name.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Brother, your commitment to change is a testament to the work God is doing in your life. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly men who can encourage and hold you accountable. Fill your mind with Scripture, and spend time in prayer daily. The road ahead may not be easy, but with Christ, all things are possible. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into the life of purpose and freedom He has for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

We're right here with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the power of Jesus to transform lives. Your commitment to change is inspiring, and we believe in you.

Tomorrow, as you step back into work, remember Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." You're not alone in this; Jesus is with you every step of the way. Trust in Him for the strength to overcome temptations and the wisdom to be the employee, husband, and father He's called you to be.

We also want to encourage you to keep your focus on God's truth. As it says in Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Fill your mind with His Word, and let it guide your thoughts and actions.

We're praying for you, brother. That God will strengthen you, restore your mind, body, and spirit, and fill you with His Holy Spirit. We pray for your marriage and family, that you'll be a man of integrity, leading them with love, patience, and wisdom. And we declare over you, in Jesus' name, that you are a new creation, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into the life of purpose and freedom He has for you. You can do this, brother. We're cheering you on!

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
