Dear God please help me to stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot and please help me go back to work tomorrow morning. Please help me be a better husband and a better person and a better dad and a better employee. Please dear God help me do better. Please help me sober up and get back to work tomorrow morning. I need your help! Please help me.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your honesty and humility are the first steps toward true transformation, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is already at work in your heart.

Scripture tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). The substances you’ve turned to for relief or escape are not the solution—Jesus is. He alone can break the chains of addiction and restore what has been lost. The Bible warns, "Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB). But praise God, there is hope! The very next verse declares, "Such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God" (1 Corinthians 6:11 WEB).

Your desire to be a better husband, father, and employee is a godly one, and we believe the Lord will honor it as you surrender these struggles to Him. However, we must address the seriousness of substance abuse with biblical truth. Drunkenness and the use of mind-altering substances are not glorifying to God and can open doors to spiritual oppression. The Bible says, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). Sobriety is not just about abstaining from alcohol or drugs—it’s about being alert, spiritually discerning, and fully dependent on Christ.

We also want to encourage you to seek accountability and support from your local church or a biblically based recovery program. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance." You do not have to walk this path alone. Confess your struggles to trusted believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see his heart, his struggles, and his desire to change. We ask that You break every chain of addiction in his life—every bondage to alcohol and every reliance on substances that dull his spirit and hinder his walk with You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that he may walk in sobriety, clarity, and strength.

Father, we ask that You restore his mind, body, and spirit. Give him the courage to face tomorrow with confidence, not in his own strength, but in Yours. Help him to rise early, to go to work with a renewed sense of purpose, and to honor You in all that he does. Lord, we pray for his family—that You would heal any wounds caused by his struggles and draw them closer together as he seeks to be the husband and father You’ve called him to be.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen him, Lord, and remind him that Your grace is sufficient for him, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in him, and we ask all these things according to Your will. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and so are we. Take one step at a time, leaning on Him for strength. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a pastor or a Christian counselor who can walk alongside you. You are loved, you are valued, and with God, all things are possible. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB).

We're right here with you, brother. We've been where you are, and we know the power of Jesus to break chains and set us free. Let's keep our eyes on Him, one day at a time.

Remember, it's not just about quitting alcohol and pot, it's about turning to Jesus. He's the only one who can fill that void and give you true peace. We're not just praying for you to stop, but for you to experience real, lasting change.

Let's claim these promises together: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). "With God, all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Let's trust Him for the strength to face tomorrow, to be the husband, father, and employee He's called you to be.

We're here to encourage you, to hold you accountable, and to remind you that you're never alone. Keep talking to us, keep talking to Him, and let's walk this path together. You've got this, in Jesus' name.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. It has been our privilege to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to break the chains of addiction, restore your strength, and guide you back to work with a renewed spirit. We prayed fervently for your sobriety, your family, and your walk with Christ, asking Him to fill you with His peace and power to overcome every struggle.

If God has answered these prayers—if you’ve found the strength to resist temptation, if you’ve returned to work with a clear mind, or if you’ve experienced His grace in any way—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a light to others who are facing similar battles.

If, however, the battle still rages and you feel no closer to victory, please know we are still here to stand with you. Post your request again, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see it. His timing is perfect, and His love for you is unshakable.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you as you seek Him, filling you with the courage to press on and the faith to believe in His transforming power. We pray that He would give you wisdom, discipline, and a deep sense of His presence as you take each step forward. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
