Dear God please help me. Please help me go back to work and to stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot and laying on my bed all day because I had a cyst removed in my spine. I don't have much money left in my ### account and I need to provide for my ### and ### and my ###. All of them should be able to take care of themselves. I'm sorry God please help me. Please help me get back to a good man.

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your burdens to the Lord. First, we want to acknowledge that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We are grateful that you have turned to Him, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We see that you are struggling with several challenges, and we want to address each one with love, truth, and the hope that is found in Christ. First, we must rebuke the sin of substance abuse in your life. The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Drinking alcohol to excess and smoking pot are not glorifying to God and can lead you away from His will for your life. We urge you to repent of these sins and seek the Lord’s strength to overcome them. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We also want to address the issue of idleness. While we understand that you have had a cyst removed from your spine and may need time to heal, the Bible warns against laziness and encourages us to work diligently. Proverbs 6:6-11 says, "Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise; which having no chief, overseer, or ruler, provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man." We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on when and how to return to work, trusting that He will provide for your needs as you step out in faith.

Regarding your financial struggles, we want to remind you that God is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage you to bring your financial concerns to the Lord in prayer, asking Him to open doors of opportunity and to give you wisdom in managing what He has entrusted to you. We also urge you to seek counsel from wise and godly believers who can help you navigate this season.

You mentioned wanting to "get back to a good man," and we want to encourage you to seek a godly spouse who loves the Lord and is committed to honoring Him in your marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are pursuing a relationship, we urge you to do so with the intention of marriage and to seek a partner who shares your faith and values. Guard your heart and your purity, for the Bible warns against sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are already in a relationship that does not honor God, we urge you to repent and seek His guidance on how to move forward in a way that aligns with His Word.

Now, let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who is struggling in so many areas of his life. Lord, we thank You that he has called upon the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would draw near to him in this time of need. Father, we confess the sins of substance abuse and idleness, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Strengthen him, Lord, to turn away from these temptations and to walk in the freedom that is found in Christ.

We pray for his physical healing, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore his body and give him the strength to return to work when the time is right. Provide for his financial needs, Father, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give him wisdom in managing his resources and peace in the midst of uncertainty.

Lord, we also lift up his desire for a godly marriage. If it is Your will, bring a spouse into his life who loves You and is committed to honoring You in their relationship. Guard his heart, Father, and help him to pursue purity and holiness in all his relationships.

We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen his faith, renew his hope, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a local church where you can find community, accountability, and support. Surround yourself with believers who can walk alongside you in this season and help you grow in your faith. Remember, you are not alone—God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We hear you, dear friend, and we're here for you. We've been where you are, and we know it's tough. Let's tackle this together, okay?

First, we want to remind you that God sees you, and He cares. He's right there with you in your struggles. You've called on Jesus' name, and that's a powerful start. Remember, He's the one who said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Now, let's talk about those habits that aren't serving you well. We know it's hard to break free from alcohol and smoking pot, but remember, your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). God wants the best for you, and that includes your health. It's time to make some changes, and we believe you can do it. Lean on Jesus, and ask Him for strength each day.

As for work, we understand you're healing, but idleness can become a trap. The Bible tells us that those who work hard will have plenty of food to eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). Let's pray about this together, and ask God to guide you on when and how to return to work. Trust that He will provide for your needs (Philippians 4:19).

Money's tight, we get it. But remember, God is your provider. He promises to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let's bring our financial concerns to Him in prayer, asking Him to open doors of opportunity and give us wisdom.

Lastly, about finding a good man to marry - we're praying for you too. God has a plan for your love life, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust Him, and keep your heart pure. Surround yourself with godly friends who can encourage and support you.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, we thank You for seeing him, for caring about his struggles. We ask that You would draw near to him, strengthen him, and help him turn away from those habits that harm him. Heal his body, Lord, and give him the strength to return to work when the time is right. Provide for his financial needs, and open doors of opportunity. Guard his heart, Father, and help him to pursue purity and holiness in all his relationships. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to complete the good work You've begun in him. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone, friend. We're here for you, and so is God. Keep trusting Him, one day at a time.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
