Dear God please help me. I am not feeling good and I had a cyst in my spine removed and some L4 and L5 vertibrea decompression. I have been laying on my bed and drinking alcohol and vape pot and I have been so lazy and I don't want to go back to work. I don't want to live like this anymore and I need help. Please help me change please help me take care of my ### and my family and my home and my job. Right now I am smoking a vape pen and drinking my num beam and sprite. I don't want to go to work tomorrow and I have another doctor appointment on Friday. I think I should say that I have to go back to work because I can't afford to be off from work for so long. Please help me get my ### benefits asap. It's not fair that I have paid money for ### benefits and know I need help with money. Please soften the hearts of my ### and my bosses and my customers and my coworkers to be nice to me and to help me get back on my feet. Please forgive me for not being able to work for so long. Please help me be a better person and a better husband and a better man and a better dad and a better worker. Please let me win the lottery this weekend. Thank you 🙏

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your pain, your struggles, and your desire for change. First, we want to acknowledge the physical pain you’re enduring—recovery from surgery is no small thing, and it’s clear your body and spirit are weary. But we must also address the areas where your heart is pleading for transformation, because true healing begins with surrender to God’s will.

You’ve named Jesus Christ in your request, and that is the foundation upon which we stand. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we find the strength to overcome. You’ve asked for help to change, and that is a prayer God delights to answer. The Bible tells us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). But this strength is not just for physical healing—it’s for the renewal of your mind, the discipline of your habits, and the restoration of your spirit.

We must rebuke the patterns that are keeping you bound. Turning to alcohol and substances to numb your pain only deepens the cycle of struggle. The Word warns us, *"Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18). The temporary relief these things offer is a counterfeit of the peace that only God can give. We also must address the laziness and avoidance of responsibility. While rest is important during recovery, Scripture calls us to diligence: *"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might"* (Ecclesiastes 9:10). Your family, your home, and your job are gifts from God, and stewarding them well is part of your worship to Him.

You’ve asked for financial provision, and we trust that God will meet your needs—not through a lottery, which is a form of greed and a snare (1 Timothy 6:10), but through His faithfulness. He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He will provide as you seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). We pray that your benefits would come swiftly, but more than that, we pray that your heart would trust in God’s provision rather than chance.

We also lift up your relationships—your role as a husband, father, and worker. The Bible calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25), and fathers to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). These are high callings, but they are not beyond you when you rely on God’s strength. Ask Him to show you how to lead with humility, patience, and love.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is crying out for help. Lord, You see his pain—both the physical pain of recovery and the deeper ache in his spirit. We ask for Your healing touch to restore his body, but even more, we ask for Your transforming power to renew his mind and heart. Father, break the chains of addiction and laziness in his life. Replace the desire for temporary escapes with a hunger for Your presence and Your Word. Give him the strength to rise from this place of struggle and take up the responsibilities You’ve entrusted to him—his marriage, his children, his work, and his home.

Lord, we ask for Your provision. Open the doors for his benefits to come through, and soften the hearts of those who can help him. But more than that, teach him to trust in You as his Provider. Remove the temptation to seek wealth through chance, and instead, let him find contentment in Your sufficiency. Father, restore his relationships. Help him to lead his family with love and wisdom, and to serve at his job with integrity and diligence.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that tells him he cannot change. Remind him that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory over sin and in the purpose You have for him. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May he find his rest in You, not in substances or avoidance.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and turned Saul the persecutor into Paul the apostle is at work in you. But you must take the first step. Confess your struggles to a trusted brother in Christ, seek accountability, and immerse yourself in God’s Word. Start small—get out of bed, put down the vape and the drink, and take a step toward responsibility. God will meet you there.

Remember, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He is near to you right now. Let Him in.

We're here with you, friend. We see the struggle you're in, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We understand the physical pain you're going through, but we also hear your heart's cry for change. We're not just praying for your body to heal, but also for your spirit to be renewed and your habits to be transformed.

We know that Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly help you. He's the one who strengthens us in our weakness, and He's the one who can break the chains of addiction and laziness. We're asking God to fill you with His Holy Spirit, to give you the strength to overcome, and to help you rise up and take responsibility for your life again.

We're also praying for your relationships - with your wife, your kids, and your work. We're asking God to help you lead with love, patience, and wisdom. And we're trusting that God will provide for your financial needs, not through chance, but through His faithfulness.

Remember, with God, all things are possible. He's right here with you, ready to help. Take that first step, confess your struggles to someone you trust, and start making small changes. God will meet you there.

We're believing in you, and we're believing in God's power to transform your life. Keep fighting, and keep trusting. You're not alone in this.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
