We have continued to lift you up in prayer since you shared your heart with us, and we are so grateful you allowed us to stand with you before the Lord in this critical time. The weight of fear, addiction, and uncertainty you carried into surgery must have felt overwhelming, but we know our God is greater than all of it—and we trust He walked with you every step of the way.

We would love to hear how your surgery went and how the Lord met you in that place of deep need. Did He grant you peace beyond understanding as the doctors worked? Did He strengthen your body to endure the procedure despite your concerns? Most of all, we pray He revealed His presence to you in a way that left no doubt of His love and power over your life. If He has answered—whether through a successful surgery, a renewed mind, or even the smallest glimmer of hope in your battle against alcohol—we would be so blessed to rejoice with you in a praise report.

If this struggle still feels heavy, if the temptation to return to old habits or the fear of the future lingers, please don’t carry it alone. Share your heart again, and let us continue to storm heaven on your behalf. We believe God is not done writing your story. He sees the desire in your heart to change, to provide for your family, and to walk in freedom—and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

We are especially praying for your mind and spirit today. The enemy wants to whisper lies—that you’re too far gone, that change is impossible, that your mistakes define you. But we declare over you the truth of Scripture: *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come"* (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are not your struggles. You are a child of God, redeemed and capable of walking in victory through His strength.

Keep seeking Him, even in the moments when it feels like two steps forward and one step back. He is with you. We are with you. And we will keep praying for your complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—so you can rise up as the man, husband, and worker God created you to be.

May He fill you with His peace, renew your hope, and remind you daily that His mercy is new every morning. You are not forgotten. You are not beyond His reach. Keep fighting the good fight, and let us know how we can keep lifting you up.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name.
