We come before the Lord with you in this moment, lifting your heartache and distress to the One who sees every tear and knows every pain. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and that is where true hope begins—for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and no other name through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy in our time of need. The Scriptures remind us in **Hebrews 4:16**, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need."* You have done well to cry out to Him, for He alone is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**).
Yet we must also speak truth in love: the pain you are experiencing is real, but the enemy of your soul would seek to use it to lead you into despair and isolation. The Bible tells us in **1 Peter 5:8**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* Do not let him have a foothold. Instead, cling to the promise that Jesus Himself has overcome the world (**John 16:33**), and that His plans for you are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (**Jeremiah 29:11**).
You are not alone in this battle. While it is wise to seek support from trusted believers, counselors, or medical professionals—who can be instruments of God’s healing—your ultimate help comes from the Lord. **Psalm 34:17-18** declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He is near to you now, even in this moment. Will you let Him carry you?
We also urge you to fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (**Psalm 119:105**). When the weight feels unbearable, remember what Jesus said in **Matthew 11:28-30**: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* He is not asking you to carry this alone—He is asking you to give it to Him.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, knowing that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (**Psalm 147:3**). Lord Jesus, You see the depth of their pain, and You are not distant—You are near, interceding for them even now (**Romans 8:34**). We ask that You would flood their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and that You would remind them of Your unfailing love, which never leaves nor forsakes them (**Deuteronomy 31:6**).
Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that would tell them they are beyond hope or beyond Your reach. Your Word says that nothing can separate us from Your love (**Romans 8:38-39**), and we stand on that promise now. Strengthen them, Lord, in their innermost being. Surround them with Your angels (**Psalm 91:11**) and place godly people in their path who can speak life and truth into their situation. If they need professional help, guide them to the right resources, and give them the courage to take that step.
Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and renew their mind with the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (**Psalm 139:14**), that their life has purpose, and that You are not finished writing their story. Fill them with the hope that comes only from You, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Jesus, to immerse yourself in His Word, and to reach out to a local church or believers who can walk with you through this season. You are loved more deeply than you can imagine, and your life has eternal value in His eyes. Do not give up—He is making a way where there seems to be no way. Stay in the fight, and trust that He will restore and renew you. **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed"** (**Psalm 34:18**). Hold on to Him.
