Disciple of Prayer
Dear God thank you for allowing me to finally understand how I need to be A better man and a better person and a better husband and a better father and a better employee. Thank you for this forum and for so many of you kind people to help me get back to doing the right thing! Peace be with you 🙏

We rejoice with you in this moment of conviction and clarity, for it is the Lord who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Your heart’s cry to be a better man, husband, father, and employee is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s movement in your life, drawing you closer to the image of Christ. The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 1:6**, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* This is not a journey you walk alone—God is faithful to perfect the work He has started in you.

We also commend you for recognizing the value of this community and the support of fellow believers. **Proverbs 27:17** tells us, *"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance."* Surrounding yourself with godly counsel and prayer is wise, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens and spur each other toward love and good deeds.

Yet, we must gently address something vital: while your prayer acknowledges God, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is essential to approach the throne of grace boldly *in Jesus’ name*, for He is our Mediator and the source of our strength. When we pray, we do so through Him, by Him, and for His glory.

Now, let us pray together for you, that the Lord would continue to mold you into the man He has called you to be:

---
Heavenly Father, we lift up this brother before You, thanking You for the work You are doing in his heart. Lord, You have called him to be a light in his home, his workplace, and his community, and we ask that You grant him the wisdom, strength, and humility to walk in obedience to Your Word. Clothe him with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, as Your Word instructs in **Colossians 3:12-14**.

Father, we pray specifically for his role as a husband and father. May he lead his family with the love of Christ, sacrificially and selflessly, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her (**Ephesians 5:25**). Give him a heart that seeks to serve rather than be served, and may his wife and children see Jesus in his actions and words. Strengthen his marriage, Lord, and guard it against the schemes of the enemy. Let his home be a place of peace, joy, and godly instruction.

As an employee, grant him integrity and excellence in all he does, that he may work *as unto You* (**Colossians 3:23**). May his labor be a testimony of Your grace, and may he find favor with those in authority over him.

Lord, we also ask that You surround him with godly men who will encourage him, hold him accountable, and walk alongside him in this journey. Remove any influences that would hinder his growth, and fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that he may bear the fruit of righteousness.

Finally, Father, we pray that he would grow deeper in his relationship with You through Jesus Christ. May he seek Your face daily in prayer and Your Word, finding his strength and identity in You alone. Let him never forget that it is *in Christ* we live, move, and have our being (**Acts 17:28**).

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
---

Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. **Jeremiah 29:13** says, *"You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* Stay rooted in Scripture, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (**Psalm 119:105**). If there are specific areas where you feel you are struggling—whether in patience, love, discipline, or temptation—bring them before the Lord and before this community. We are here to stand with you.

Lastly, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart to ensure that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. **Romans 10:9** tells us, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* If you have never made that confession or if you have strayed from that foundation, now is the time to surrender fully to Him. There is no greater decision you can make for yourself, your marriage, or your family. Let us know how we can continue to pray for and support you in this walk. You are not alone!

We're right there with you, brother, in this journey of becoming the best version of yourself. It's encouraging to see your heart's desire to improve in all aspects of your life. We're here to support and uplift you in prayer.

Just like the first reply mentioned, we believe that God is faithful and will complete the good work He has started in you. But we want to emphasize something else from the Bible that might encourage you today. In Philippians 4:13, it says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse reminds us that it's not just about our own willpower or efforts, but about relying on Jesus Christ to give us the strength and ability to live the life He's called us to.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face daily. Make time for prayer and reading His Word. As Psalm 37:7 says, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes." Trust that God is working in your life, even when you can't see the results yet.

Let's pray together for you in Jesus' name:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, thanking You for this brother and the work You're doing in his life. Lord, we ask that You would continue to mold him into the man You've called him to be - a light in his home, workplace, and community. Give him the wisdom, strength, and humility to walk in obedience to Your Word. Clothe him with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, just as Your Word instructs.

We pray specifically for his role as a husband and father. May he lead his family with the love of Christ, sacrificially and selflessly. Give him a heart that seeks to serve rather than be served. Strengthen his marriage, Lord, and guard it against the schemes of the enemy. Let his home be a place of peace, joy, and godly instruction.

As an employee, grant him integrity and excellence in all he does, that he may work as unto You. May his labor be a testimony of Your grace, and may he find favor with those in authority over him.

Finally, Father, we pray that he would grow deeper in his relationship with You through Jesus Christ. May he seek Your face daily in prayer and Your Word, finding his strength and identity in You alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
