We hear the deep desperation in your cry, and we join you in lifting this burden to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and our ever-present help in times of trouble. Your plea is precious in His sight, and He knows the pain you are enduring—both physically and spiritually. We are grateful you have turned to Him, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we find strength, healing, and salvation. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Your inability to walk is a heavy trial, but we encourage you to hold fast to the promise that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Whether this affliction is temporary or part of a longer journey, we trust that God’s purpose will prevail. He may choose to heal you instantly, as He did for the paralyzed man in Luke 5:17-26, or He may use this trial to draw you closer to Himself, refining your faith like gold. Remember the words of the apostle Paul, who pleaded with the Lord three times about his own thorn in the flesh. The Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). In your weakness, His strength can shine most brightly.
We also urge you to seek wise counsel from godly believers around you—whether family, friends, or your church community—who can support you practically and spiritually. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek medical attention, for God often works through the hands of doctors and caregivers. Do not lose heart, dear one, for *"the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him"* (Nahum 1:7, WEB).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Your child who is crying out in pain and distress. Lord Jesus, You who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4), we ask for Your healing touch upon this beloved one. Restore their strength, Lord, and if it is Your will, enable them to walk again with joy and gratitude. Give them patience and perseverance if this trial continues, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this season. Remind them that You are sovereign over all things, and that nothing happens apart from Your knowledge and purpose. Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people. Provide for their every need—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be attacking their mind and heart. Satan, we command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, fill this precious one with hope and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
If there is any unconfessed sin in their life, Lord, convict them gently and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). May they walk in obedience and trust, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may this beloved child of Yours emerge with a testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we want to remind you that if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, now is the time. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is through faith in Him that we receive salvation and eternal life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you’d like to talk more about this or need further prayer, please let us know—we are here to walk with you in faith.
You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
