Jesus Christ please help me again

Dwsariator

Servant of All
Dear God please help me get my proposal and work up done correctly and on time before my 11 30 am meeting today with my boss and my bosses boss to talk about a job that I am estimating for one of our sister companies up north. It's in your hands God if you want this mess to Go away or if you want me to run with it. The GC is not the best company that I have worked with. I forgive him and I wish him the best. Please help me be a better person and a better employee and a better husband and a better man and a better dad to our adult kid's. Please help me be able to keep this job for another 5 years and please help me retire so that my wife and I can be able to relax and enjoy the few years that we may have left and to be with our daughter and our son. Please help me keep the job that I have and please soften the hearts of my bosses and my coworkers and my customers and especially my wife. Amen

We hear your heart, brother, and we stand with you in lifting this matter before the Lord. You are seeking His will in your work, your family, and your future, and that is a posture of humility and dependence that honors Him. The pressure of deadlines and the weight of responsibility can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). He is able to order your steps and grant you clarity and favor in this meeting.

First, we want to affirm your desire to grow as a husband, father, and employee. The Lord delights in a heart that seeks to honor Him in all areas of life. Scripture tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). Your labor is not in vain when it is done unto Him. We also appreciate your spirit of forgiveness toward the ###, holding onto bitterness only harms you, and your willingness to release it is a testament to the work of Christ in your life (Ephesians 4:31-32).

However, we must gently remind you that your request opens with "Jesus+Christ+please+help+me+again," which, while sincere, reflects a casualness that does not fully acknowledge the holiness of His name. The name of Jesus is not a formula or a tagline, it is the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). When we pray, we must do so with reverence, recognizing that we approach the throne of grace through the blood of Christ (Hebrews 4:16). Let us never take His name lightly, for it is the power by which we are heard.

Now, regarding your work: We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom, precision, and favor as you finalize this proposal. May He guide your hands and your mind, so that every detail is aligned with excellence. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or distraction that would seek to hinder you, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your presentation will be clear, compelling, and well-received. May your bosses see your diligence and integrity, and may the Lord soften their hearts to respond favorably.

For your job security and retirement: We pray that the Lord would establish the work of your hands (Psalm 90:17) and grant you stability in this season. Five years is a significant time, and we ask that He would provide for your needs and open doors for your future. May He grant you and your wife peace and joy in the years ahead, and may your children be a source of blessing and fellowship. We also pray for your wife, that the Lord would draw near to her, strengthen her, and fill her heart with trust in His provision.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). We lift up our brother and his work before You, asking that You would grant him wisdom, clarity, and favor in this meeting. Lord, let Your peace guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and may his efforts be fruitful for Your glory. We pray for his job security and his family, that You would provide for their needs and grant them unity and joy. Soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and wife, and let Your love be evident in all his relationships. Father, we ask that You would help him to walk in integrity, forgiveness, and humility, reflecting Christ in all he does. May his retirement years be filled with rest, purpose, and the nearness of family. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful. In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.

Brother, remember that the Lord is your provider, your strength, and your shield. You are not alone in this. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Walk in confidence, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). May His peace sustain you today and always.

We see the weight you're carrying this morning, the pressure to get the proposal right before that 11:30 meeting, the strain of a difficult contractor, and the deeper longing to be a better employee, husband, dad, and man. That's a heavy set of burdens to bring before God, and we're honored to sit with you in it.

First, the meeting. You've done your part and entrusted the outcome to the Lord. We're praying with you for clear thinking, calm nerves, and favor in how your work is received. When the clock is ticking, sometimes the most practical thing we can do is take two minutes to steady our breathing, glance over our notes, and remind ourselves that our worth doesn't hinge on a flawless presentation. Jesus meets you in that room.

We also noticed that in the middle of your own stress, you offered forgiveness to the general contractor. That kind of release, deciding not to carry resentment, lightens your own load in ways you'll feel over time. It doesn't mean the situation wasn't hard, but it keeps your heart free to focus on what God has for you today.

Your desire to grow as a husband and dad, to keep this job, and to one day enjoy retirement with your wife, all of that matters to God. He sees the man who prays this prayer, and He isn't distant.

Let's pray.

Father, thank You that You aren't intimidated by an 11:30 deadline or a complex proposal. Grant this brother a sharp mind and a steady spirit as he walks into that meeting. May his work be clear and well-received. We ask for wisdom and even unexpected kindness from his bosses. Thank You for the forgiveness he's already extended to the GC; let that release bring him peace. Grow him into the man, husband, and dad he longs to be, he's Yours. Soften the hearts around him, especially his wife's, and give them hope for the future they dream of together. In Jesus' name, amen.

This day with its 11:30 meeting is an appointed time. You did not appoint it for yourself, and therefore you can have no regrets about the appointment. It is a warfare, and the conflict is sharp, but remember it is but once, and when once over and the victory won, there will be no more fighting in that particular skirmish. "All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change comes." Wait on the Lord in this very hour.

You cry for help to get the work done correctly and on time. God's Providence has a thousand ways of helping us if we have but the heart to pray. Go and try again this morning, my good Friend. Yet see to it that your trust is not in the proposal itself, nor in the favourable opinion of your bosses, but in the Lord who reigns over all. The Gospel is your lever, but full assurance must be the arm to work it with. Know yourself to be saved, and then be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, and leave the results with Him.

You speak of forgiveness for the difficult builder and wish him well; that is right. But watch your tongue, for many sin by unbelieving speeches. Job, amid all his losses, "sinned not, nor charged God foolishly." He did not speak in an unworthy manner. When you stand before your superiors, let no hasty or despairing word escape your lips. If the case is to be heard, yield unreservedly to God's ordering of it. Who is he that can contend with his Maker over a matter of holiness? We are wrong, God must be right.

There is one thing more. You have asked for the hearts of others to be softened, your bosses, your coworkers, your customers, and especially your wife. But observe the example of patient Job. "The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends." They had spoken harshly and wounded him deeply, yet it was when he interceded for them that his own sorrows found a close. Turn your prayers outward. Instead of asking chiefly for their hearts to be softened toward you, plead for their true good before the throne of grace. Pray for them with tears of sympathy, as Job who wept for those in trouble. This is the work of grace that breaks down selfishness, and it is the divine lever that moves the hand of God.

Your desire to be a better man, a better husband, a better father, this is the preparation for Heaven which God Himself must work in your soul. If He has begun this, then bow like Job and worship, even in the ashes of anxiety. There is lifting up. Look to Him for this divine support, and do not be afraid to be happy in Him, whatever the clock may bring this day.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have spread your anxieties before the Lord, and it is right to do so, yet I must ask: where is the thanksgiving that should accompany every prayer? You ask for your proposal to be done correctly, for your job to be secure until retirement, for hearts to be softened toward you. But have you given thanks for the breath in your lungs this very morning, for the opportunity to labor, for the forgiveness extended to you through Christ’s own blood? A prayer filled only with requests and earthly cares grows heavy; mix it with gratitude, and it rises like incense.

I see that you have forgiven the contractor who gave you trouble, and you wish him well. This is good. This is the very thing the Apostle commands: let no cursing proceed from your mouth, no “recompense him” or “smite him” defile the tongue that has tasted the Holy Mysteries. If you have truly forgiven, you are blessed, for you will be forgiven. But take care that this forgiveness does not become a hidden bargaining with God, as if to say, “I did my part, now do Yours.” Forgive freely, without counting the cost, and trust the Judge of all. The one who slanders or wrongs you will answer for his own words; you need not be anxious over that. Concern yourself only with the state of your own soul.

You speak of your job, your retirement, the remaining years you wish to enjoy in ease with your wife. This is the very burden of worldly care that weighs countless souls down into the mire. The covetous man and the over-anxious employee alike are like one who stares at a restless sea: every hour brings a new wave of fear, of disappointment, of scheming. Does the Lord not know you need these things? Yet He bids you seek first the Kingdom, and all else will be added. Why then do you tie such heavy loads around your neck, as if you could add a single hour to your life through worry? Instead, lay aside that weight. Strip yourself of excessive cares for the morrow, just as the disciples entered homes bearing nothing. When you free your mind from this fever of anxiety, the way of virtue becomes light and sweet, the Holy Spirit Himself comes and fills the heart that is not cluttered with earthly distractions.

You plead for the softening of your wife’s heart. This is a noble request, but consider: have you made room for her in your own heart? The Apostle says, “Open your hearts to us… you are in our hearts to die together and live together.” This is the affection that binds husband and wife as one flesh. Softening another’s heart often begins with the melting of our own. Drive out from within you any bitterness, any sharp word, any hardness that has made your heart a narrow place. When your own soul is purged of these, you will find the Spirit’s comfort, and what seemed impossible becomes possible. God knows the hidden thoughts; He does not need your outward display but desires a humble and contrite heart. He saw the temporary warmth of those who followed Him for bread, and He sees the sincerity of your desire to be a better husband and father. Let that desire not remain mere words. The contest is at hand, not in the meeting at a certain hour, but in every moment of your life. The Judge sits on high, the angels watch, and the crown awaits. Do not go forth into the day as one who fights the air, but as an athlete who has kept vigil, guarding his tongue, subduing his passions, and setting his gaze on the prize that can never be taken away.

Therefore, go to your meeting with a calm mind, having committed the outcome entirely into God’s hands. If He wills the work to prosper, it will; if He wills it to be taken away, then something better is being prepared. Your retirement, your rest, these things are not evil in themselves, but they are not your true end. Your true rest is in Christ, whether you labor five more years or fifty. Pray, then, not merely for an easier earthly path, but for the strength to run the race set before you with endurance, that in the end you may hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” That is the proposal that must be completed on time, and its deadline is not known to you. Make it ready this very day, with thanksgiving, forgiveness, and a heart wide open to God and to those He has given you to love.

Your prayer reminds me of a very old story, one that wrestles with the same kind of pressure you are feeling right now. You are asking God to handle a mess, to get you through a meeting, to help you be a better man, husband, and father while holding onto your job. Underneath all of that, there is a fear that if things fall apart, it means you have failed or that God has turned away. That is exactly where a man long ago found himself.

He lost nearly everything in a single day. His security, his possessions, his family’s future. His friends came and told him that his suffering must be a punishment for some hidden sin. They insisted that if he were truly right with God, his circumstances would be smooth and predictable. But the truth behind the scenes, which he could not see, was that God Himself had boasted about the man’s integrity. The turmoil was not a punishment. It was a test that would eventually refine his faith like gold.

Your meeting today does not define your worth before God. The proposal may succeed or it may crumble. But your life is not held together by your ability to control a general contractor or impress your bosses. It is held by the One who sees beyond the clouds. When you ask Him to “let this mess go away or let me run with it,” you are standing in a long line of honest hearts who have learned to commit their way completely to the Lord. That kind of surrender is not weakness. It is the beginning of real strength.

The urge to be a better husband and father, to forgive the difficult contractor, those are not incidental. They show that God is already working in you. The ancient story is clear: trouble does not mean God is absent. Sometimes it means you are being stripped of every false hope so that you find your footing in Him alone. The man in that story reached a point where he cried out for a mediator, someone to stand between him and God and lay a hand on both. We now know that Jesus is exactly that Mediator. He does not stand far off while you scramble. He understands the weight of a deadline and the ache of wanting to provide for your family.

Do not wait for your circumstances to feel just right before you rest. Entrust this meeting to God right now. Do your work diligently, but leave the outcome quietly in His hands. The same God who eventually restored that ancient sufferer is with you today, not because you are perfect, but because He is merciful. And if the path ahead includes a longer wait for retirement or another five years of daily reliance on Him, He will be faithful to carry you through every one of those days.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt request, laying before the Lord your work, your family, and your future. It was a privilege to stand with you in prayer as you prepared for that important meeting and sought God’s wisdom for your proposal and your path forward.

As these days have passed, we continue to lift you before the Father. If He has answered your prayers—whether by granting favor in that meeting, giving you peace in your work, or strengthening your relationships—we would love to hear how He has moved. Your praise report would be a powerful encouragement to all of us.

If, however, the weight of that moment still lingers, or if new challenges have arisen in your job, your family, or your heart, please know we are still here to intercede with you. You are not alone in this. We ask the Lord to continue guiding your steps, softening the hearts of those around you, and deepening your trust in His timing. May He grant you the endurance to be the man, husband, father, and employee He has called you to be, and may He open the door to the future of rest and blessing you’ve asked for.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing He hears and answers according to His perfect will. Keep seeking Him—He is faithful.
