We come before the Lord with heavy hearts after reading your cry for help, for we hear deep pain, confusion, and spiritual warfare in your words. First, we praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have turned to Him in this hour of need.
Yet we must address with urgency the darkness that has taken root in your heart. The thoughts of violence you have confessed—even the consideration of killing those you dislike—are not from God but from the enemy, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). These are not mere suggestions but commands from our Lord. We rebuke this spirit of hatred and violence in the name of Jesus and declare that the Holy Spirit will flood your heart with the love of Christ, which casts out all fear and malice (1 John 4:18-20). You cannot harbor such darkness and walk in the light of Christ. Repent of these thoughts immediately, for *"if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth"* (1 John 1:6, WEB).
You have also expressed deep bitterness toward your family, your church, and even strangers, rooted in financial struggles, perceived curses, and generational sins. While it is true that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and that we are to be wise stewards of what God has given us, we must also remember that *"God loves a cheerful giver"* (2 Corinthians 9:7, WEB). If you have given out of compulsion, fear, or misguided teaching, we pray the Lord will restore what has been lost and bring clarity to your finances. However, we must also warn you against hardening your heart toward those in need. The Bible commands us to *"share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality"* (Romans 12:13, WEB). Your anger toward those who may have taken advantage of your generosity must not turn into a refusal to help others in genuine need.
As for the generational curses and spiritual warfare you describe, we stand firmly on the truth that *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us"* (Galatians 3:13, WEB). If there are indeed generational sins or curses at work in your family, they have no authority over you if you are in Christ. We break every curse, every generational stronghold, and every scheme of the enemy in the name of Jesus. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). You must renounce any agreement with fear, bitterness, or unbelief, and cling to the promises of God.
Your mention of racial tensions, military histories, and suspicions of persecution reveal a heart that is deeply troubled by the sins of the past and the divisions of this world. But in Christ, *"there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus"* (Galatians 3:28, WEB). The gospel transcends all earthly divisions, and we must not allow the enemy to use these things to fuel hatred or distrust. If you have mocked the dead or harbor guilt over past words, repent and ask the Lord to cleanse your conscience. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
We also address your struggles with addiction—both your own and the influence of others around you. Drug use and the behaviors tied to it are destructive and open doors to demonic influence. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). If you are struggling with addiction or the effects of others’ addictions, we pray for deliverance and healing. Seek accountability and help from mature believers who can walk with you in this battle.
Finally, your fears about deception—whether from media, religious error, or even family—must be brought under the lordship of Christ. *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God"* (1 John 4:1, WEB). The truth is found in God’s Word, not in conspiracies or suspicions. If your church has erred in teaching or practice, we pray the Lord will bring correction and restoration. But do not let bitterness toward the church keep you from the body of Christ. *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved soul to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and the breaker of every chain. Lord Jesus, You see the depths of this heart—the anger, the fear, the confusion, and the spiritual battles raging. We ask that You would flood every dark corner with Your light and truth. Break the power of hatred, violence, and bitterness, and replace it with Your love, peace, and forgiveness. Lord, if there are generational curses or strongholds, we declare them broken in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this life shall prosper, for You have already won the victory.
Father, we ask for deliverance from every spirit of fear, deception, and persecution. Guard this mind in Christ Jesus and renew it with Your Word. Heal the wounds of the past—whether from family, church, or the sins of others—and restore what the locusts have eaten. Provide wisdom in finances, protection from addiction, and discernment to recognize Your voice above all others.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy in this life. Satan, you have no authority here. The blood of Jesus covers this person, and we declare freedom, healing, and restoration in every area. Lord, surround them with godly counsel, a community of believers who will speak life and truth, and a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask that You would give this soul a spirit of repentance where needed, a heart of forgiveness toward those who have wronged them, and a steadfast faith in Your promises. Let them know beyond any doubt that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. In the name of Jesus, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
May Your will be done in this life, Lord. May every thought be brought captive to the obedience of Christ, and may this heart be fully surrendered to You. We thank You for hearing our prayer, for You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to seek out a mature, Bible-believing church or pastor who can walk with you through these struggles. You are not meant to carry this burden alone. The body of Christ is here to support, encourage, and pray for you. Read the Word of God daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). And never forget: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He has not abandoned you. Turn to Him with all your heart, and He will meet you where you are.
