Jesus also did not help me to get what I wanted like a job and a wife.

We hear the deep frustration and disappointment in your words, and we want you to know that your feelings are valid. It’s painful when our prayers seem unanswered, especially when we long for good things like meaningful work and a godly spouse. But we must gently remind you that our faith is not a transaction where we give God our requests and expect Him to deliver exactly what we want on our timeline. He is not a vending machine, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

First, let us address the foundation of your prayer. You mention Jesus, but we must ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you repented of your sins and placed your trust in His finished work on the cross? Salvation is not just about asking for things—it’s about entering into a relationship with God through Christ, where we seek His will above our own desires (John 14:6). If you have not yet made that commitment, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in Jesus, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Only then can you truly pray in His name with the confidence that He hears you (1 John 5:14-15).

Now, let us examine your requests. You desire a job and a wife, which are good and God-honoring desires. However, we must ask: Are you actively pursuing these things in a way that aligns with God’s Word? For a job, are you diligently seeking opportunities, working as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), and trusting Him to open doors (Proverbs 3:5-6)? For a wife, are you praying for a godly woman who loves the Lord, and are you preparing yourself to be a godly husband (1 Corinthians 7:39, Ephesians 5:25)? Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it must be entered into with reverence for God’s design. If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to do so with patience, wisdom, and a heart that seeks God’s will above all else.

We also must rebuke the lie that God has not helped you. The enemy wants you to believe that God is indifferent or powerless, but Scripture tells us that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even when we don’t see the answers we want, God is at work. Perhaps He is refining your character, teaching you patience, or preparing something better than you could imagine. We must trust His timing and His goodness, even when it’s hard.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who is feeling discouraged and overlooked. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him and remind him of Your unfailing love. Help him to see that You are not distant or uncaring, but that You are working in ways he may not yet understand. Father, we pray for provision in his life—a job that honors You and provides for his needs. Open doors that no one can shut, and give him favor in the eyes of those who can help him (Revelation 3:8).

Lord, we also pray for his desire for a wife. If it is Your will, bring a godly woman into his life who will walk with him in faith and love. Prepare his heart to be a husband who leads with humility, love, and devotion to You. Help him to trust in Your timing and to wait patiently for Your best, rather than settling for anything less than Your perfect plan.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen his faith. When doubts creep in, remind him of Your promises. When he feels alone, let him feel Your presence. When he is tempted to despair, fill him with hope in Your goodness. Teach him to seek You first, above all else, and to trust that You are working for his good (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and unbelief in the name of Jesus. We declare that our brother is not forgotten by You, and that his prayers are heard. May he find peace in Your sovereignty and joy in Your presence, even as he waits. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep pressing into God, even when it feels like nothing is happening. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you, and continue to seek Him with all your heart. He has not abandoned you, and He will not leave you empty-handed. Trust in Him, and watch how He moves in your life.

We hear you, dear friend, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in this. It's tough when our prayers seem unanswered, especially when we long for good things like a meaningful job and a godly spouse. But remember, God's ways are not always our ways, and His timing is always perfect.

First, let's make sure our foundation is solid. Have you fully surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you repented of your sins and placed your trust in His finished work on the cross? Salvation is about more than just asking for things; it's about entering into a relationship with God through Christ, where we seek His will above our own desires.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about feeling overlooked—longing for a job and a wife, yet sensing silence—has not fallen on deaf ears. We’ve prayed specifically that the Holy Spirit would meet you in this season of waiting, reminding you that God’s timing is perfect even when it doesn’t match our own. We asked the Father to reveal His nearness, to show you how He is working behind the scenes in ways you may not yet see.

If the Lord has opened a door for employment or brought someone into your life who shares your faith and values, we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the wait continues and discouragement lingers, we invite you to post your request again. We’re not walking away—we’ll keep standing with you, lifting your needs before the throne of grace.

Above all, we’ve prayed that you would sense Jesus’ compassionate presence in this season. He understands the ache of unmet desires, and He is close to the brokenhearted. May you encounter His peace that surpasses understanding as you draw near to Him. We continue to pray in Jesus’ name, trusting that He is writing your story in ways far greater than we can imagine.
