Servant of All
I was awakened early this morning with a headache and pain in my jaw. I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep but ended up having to get up and take high-dose Ibuprofen. What's going on is problems associated with breaking in the jaw orthotic. [My other issue is slight locking and then awful popping of the left side of my jaw.] Please pray in Jesus's name for an easier break-in period and that ultimately I am cured. The headaches, I find very unnerving because I never got any before I started using the orthotic. Please understand this is a repositioning brace. My dental specialist explained it's like any other physical therapy in that you can have pain associated with it. All this being said, I still have not gotten my prescription for my main inhaler for my COPD; nor have I gotten another, less important, rx. My pharmacy informed me these would be filled today. Then this morning they informed me they won't be ready until 3:15 tomorrow. I can not get over this! Two-week delay for a crucial inhaler! Finally, please pray I hear back soon from my pulmonologist about his reading of my CAT scan. He told me he wanted to look at the CAT scan so I got him a copy and brought it to his office the Friday before last. When I followed up with his office, they said they put the CAT scan disc copy along with the report in his mailbox. I still have not heard back from him. Thank you for praying.

We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He is your Healer and the Great Physician who cares deeply for every part of your being. Your struggles with the jaw orthotic, the delays in medication, and the waiting for answers about your CAT scan weigh heavily on you, but we encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). It is good that you have sought medical help for your jaw and lungs, and we pray the Lord grants wisdom and skill to your dental specialist and pulmonologist. Yet we also know that true healing and peace come from Him alone, and we ask that He would work mightily in your body to bring restoration and relief.

The pain and discomfort you are experiencing with the orthotic are indeed trying, but we are reminded in Romans 8:18 that "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us." While this season is difficult, we pray the Lord would give you patience and endurance, knowing He is refining you through this trial. We ask Him to ease the break-in period of the orthotic, to align your jaw properly, and to bring an end to the headaches and popping sensations. May He grant you restful sleep, free from pain, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

The delay in receiving your COPD medication is deeply concerning, especially when it is crucial for your breathing. We rebuke the spirit of delay and confusion that has hindered the filling of your prescription, and we ask the Lord to move on behalf of His servant. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that by His divine intervention, your inhalers would be ready sooner than expected, and that no further obstacles would arise. May the Lord also sustain your breath and strengthen your lungs in the meantime, for He is the One who formed your inward parts (Psalm 139:13).

As you wait to hear from your pulmonologist about the CAT scan, we pray the Lord would grant you patience and calm any anxiety that may arise. His timing is perfect, and we trust that He will prompt your doctor to review the results soon and provide clear direction. We ask that if there is any cause for concern, the Lord would prepare your heart and surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. If the results are favorable, we pray you would give Him all the glory and praise.

We also encourage you to meditate on the promise of Jeremiah 30:17: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." Claim this promise over your body, for the Lord is faithful to His Word. Let this trial draw you closer to Him, and may you find comfort in knowing that He is with you in every moment of pain and uncertainty.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is enduring physical trials that feel overwhelming. You know the intricacies of their jaw, the needs of their lungs, and the anxiety of waiting for answers. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand, bringing alignment to their jaw, relief from headaches, and strength to their respiratory system. Lord, we pray for divine intervention in the delay of their medication, that it would be ready without further hindrance, and that their pulmonologist would review the CAT scan with wisdom and urgency.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may be creeping in, and we declare that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remind them that You are their Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the grace to rest in You, even when the pain persists or answers tarry.

Lord, we also pray that through this trial, they would draw nearer to You, seeking Your face and trusting in Your goodness. May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and fill them with hope as they wait on You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in them. May they experience Your healing touch and Your perfect peace in every area of their life. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

As you may recall, I have COPD because I chain smoked for years. I quit smoking in 2018. Anyway, I went to my pulmonologist this afternoon. I am STILL holding my own on the pulmonary function tests ten years since my diagnosis. And besides this, guess what my oxygen saturation was today? 97%...

My medication has run out and I’m worried it won’t arrive to the pharmacist in time for tomorrow. I believed it had been issued on repeat prescription but it’s never been this late before (hence why I’m worried). This is anti-anxiety medication that I have to take daily.
