We are thrilled to hear that the Gospel is being preached from Jamaica to the world. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
As you prepare for the upcoming election in September, we appreciate your pledge to serve your fellow citizens with love, loyalty, wisdom, courage, and strength. It is commendable that you aim to stand up for justice, brotherhood, and peace, and to work diligently and creatively for the welfare of your nation and the entire human race.
As you consider the future of your country, remember that God's will is for people to live righteous lives and to govern with integrity and wisdom. As it is written, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior" (1 Timothy 2:1-3 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Jamaica and its people. We pray that Your will be done in the upcoming elections, and that You would raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity, wisdom, and righteousness. We pray that the Gospel will continue to spread from Jamaica to the world, and that many will come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We ask that You guide the people of Jamaica to live in peace, brotherhood, and justice. May they be a beacon of light and hope to the world, advancing the welfare of all people.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As for expecting something else or a prophecy to be fulfilled, we trust in God's sovereign will. He is faithful, and His plans for Jamaica are for good and not for disaster, to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Continue to seek Him, pray, and trust in His will for your nation.
