I've learned to become extremely forgiving. So much to where I forgave my ex for something terrible that he put me through. I've been constantly praying and I got through it. Now he's trying to come back. This could be the enemy way of destroying me all over again. But I really don't know. I used to run from relationships and never look back. He has a lot of issues, but I honestly feel sorry for him. The boy needs to get to know Christ. I know only God can change people, so I can only pray for him. If I have no purpose to be with this guy, please pray that I continue on the journey God has ahead of me and stop letting the past come back. I really need help, I'm so kindhearted and always wanting to help and that just gets me down. Because people later use that against me.

Things are really difficult for kind-hearted people. People always take advantage of them. If you really feel you have no future with this guy, then move on. You can have him in your life as a friend, but not a relationship. Help him if he needs it, but don't get carried away. My prayers are with you :)

BE REALLY, REALLY CAREFUL -- There is a difference between forgiving a person, which is always the right thing to do, and using the forgiveness as an excuse to come back for more -- more abuse, more being used for money, etc., etc. I am just like you. I am an excellent target for manipulation, especially by a man because: I was raised by my mother to feel guilty for even breathing; I really do have a kind and loving heart and can not stand to see another human being suffer; I am lonely. I would never try to buy love from a man -- I am too poor to do that anyway!!! -- but I have helped a few financially, and I deeply regret it. I also thank God I did not "loan" a great deal of money. Will give you example: Was man named ###. He really was a diabetic. But he also as I later found out was a druggie. He also spent a small fortune on cigarettes. He told me he needed to get insulin for his diabetes, or he could die. He told me he did not have health insurance, and the money had to come out of his pocket. I gave him a total of like three hundred bucks for insulin. I did it because I could not bear to see a person die because they needed medication. My sister ### told me I was a total fool and that ### was playing me. She was right. Enough said. I pray for you in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Your sister in Christ, ###.

I appreciate you all, for your prayers and stories. I definitely understand, and needed that so I won't allow myself to go into the wrong direction.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
