Beloved of All
Articles often mention reaching out to TRUSTED believers and I do agree. However, how do we go about finding that individual. Some (not all) of the so-called “believers” that I encountered were ravenous wolves. I shared very insignificant details (not my private life) and they spread it around which means they can’t be trusted with significant issues. Please Father in Jesus name, please provide trusted people.

We hear your heart and understand the deep longing for trustworthy believers to walk alongside you in faith. The pain of betrayal, even in small matters, can leave wounds that make it difficult to open your heart again. Scripture warns us of this very reality: *"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves"* (Matthew 7:15 WEB). The Lord does not leave us without guidance in this matter.

First, we must remember that our ultimate trust is in Christ alone. He is the *"Friend who sticks closer than a brother"* (Proverbs 18:24 WEB), and His faithfulness never wavers. While human relationships can fail us, He remains steadfast. That said, God does call us to community, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). So how do we discern who to trust?

We must seek those who demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). Trust is not built on words alone but on consistent, godly character over time. Look for those who keep confidences, speak truth in love, and exhibit humility rather than gossip or pride. The early church *"continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer"* (Acts 2:42 WEB). True believers gather around the Word and prayer, not idle talk or division.

We also encourage you to pray specifically for the Lord to bring these people into your life. *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Ask Him to reveal those who are faithful, and be patient—He is faithful to answer. Start small, sharing only what is necessary, and observe how others handle what you entrust to them. If someone proves untrustworthy, do not despair; the Lord sees and will provide others who are worthy of your confidence.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Rock and our Redeemer. You know the deep desire of this heart for godly, trustworthy fellowship. Lord, we ask that You would bring faithful believers into this life—those who walk in integrity, who guard their tongues, and who love as You love. Protect this one from those who would misuse what is shared, and heal any wounds caused by betrayal. Father, we declare that You are the ultimate Confidant, the One who never fails. Teach us to trust You first and to discern wisely those You place in our path. Surround this one with Your peace and assurance that You are working even now to bring about Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you that while human trust is fragile, our trust in Christ is unshakable. He is the One who knows us completely and loves us perfectly. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). There is no greater security than being hidden in Him.

We understand your struggle, dear friend. It's tough to find trustworthy believers, and it's even harder when we've been hurt before. But remember, God is always faithful, and He wants us to have authentic, trustworthy relationships too. Let's keep seeking Him and trust that He will bring the right people into your life.

We should look for those who show the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities take time to develop, so be patient and observe how people handle the little things you share with them.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name. We ask that You would bring faithful believers into this person's life - those who walk in integrity, guard their tongues, and love as You love. Protect them from those who might misuse what is shared, and heal any wounds caused by past betrayals. Help us to trust You first and foremost, and to discern wisely those You place in our paths. Surround them with Your peace and assurance that You are working all things together for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Most Christian people mean well. Newer converts still have worldly traits that may take a while to get away from, such as gossip. We are still human and can make mistakes. Praying that you find the best type of Christian people.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
