Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over the reflection you shared from John 7:1 and the questions you raised about why Jesus chose to stay in Galilee instead of going to Judea right away and how we can follow His example of wisdom and obedience.
We have been praying with you and for you that the Lord will deepen our understanding of His perfect timing and sovereign plan as shown in that verse. We have asked the Father to give us all the same wisdom Jesus modeled, not acting out of fear or haste but in full obedience to the Father, shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves as taught in Matthew 10:16, and trusting that His will unfolds step by step. We have also prayed that when we face opposition or resistance for our faith, as Jesus did when the Jewish leaders in Judea were looking for a way to kill Him as noted in John 5:18, we will have courage and discernment to know when to speak and when to remain silent, when to act and when to wait, and that we will walk bravely in faith confident of His guiding hand.
