It's been awhile since I've asked for prayer for our son so I would like to ask for prayer for him again. I can honestly say that when I was I saw such a change in his demeanor as he was so much calmer, and would not get upset so easily, but unfortunately I see his old personality coming back a little again.
He got married at the young age of 21 and during the short time he and his wife were together she left him 4 times, cheating on him at least 3 of the times she left if not more. The last time I knew she was not coming back, she use to live here as well. She found a way to keep their daughter from him which even his lawyer said there was nothing there, but it was the other thing his lawyer advised him not to fight. Well that was 2 years and 4 months ago, and still nothing has come of the one thing, and he has not seen his daughter since she was 5 months old. I go out to our mailbox everyday thinking is this going to be the day he'll get the letter from his lawyer saying he needs to appear in court.
Before any of this all happened we found out after the fact that she was telling everyone she would do whatever it takes to see that he does not get custody of their daughter and she won. Our son was a good father, but he and his wife on the other hand just did NOT get along so she just did not want to be bothered with him and I know that's why she did what she did. I've tried talking to her but its a lost cause as she won't own up to anything she has done wrong!
She has been living with her BF for over 2 years now and our granddaughter only knows him as her Daddy. Our son and her have never got divorced, and I told her our son is not working because he lost his job and if you want a divorce you should be the one to pay for it. Her and her BF are making plans to be married next June.
I apologize this is so long, but I just wanted to give a little background as to why he's so bitter at times, and also he's apprehensive about what's going to happen to him, as my husband and I are too. I told him him despite what she has done he needs to forgive her so he can move on, but he won't do that.
I've been wanting him to come back to church but I just made the mistake of telling him that our Pastor is going to marry his X MIL and her BF the week after Thanksgiving, and he said and now you wonder why I won't go back to that church, knowing what I've been through with this family, and they've never even gone to our church, but the BF just happens to know our Pastor.
So he's really been dealt a hard blow, and the sad part is she was with him the week before as his "wife" when she came over to get her clothes knowing she was going to pull the rug out from underneath him so to speak. We think she was with her BF at the time too. So again could you please pray for him for what he has been through,and that nothing will come of the thing that we are so apprehensive about, and also for his salvation. Also could you please pray for his X wife's salvation as well.
